HOLY CRAP

Wow, MONSTER pot I just won hu. I wuz tilting like CRAZY. This guy wuz playing like a compelte donk. Unfortunately myr oll is now $9825, tho was as low as $8k. RELE sick swings vs this idiot that ran good. I just got too fancy in RR pots when he happened to have hands. RELE tilted me to lose to this idiot... neway, tho I lost only $600 I'm somewha thappy because I won this monster pot, which he INSTAQUIT me afterwards. It's funny how both of the biggest pots I've EVER won were both 300BB deep at 2/4 nl vs an AQ bluffing LOOOL. The other one was the KK a while ago with a good 2p2er thats very aggro when we had history and I called his $1k riv bet into the ~$400 pot or so with my KK on the 55598 board (flush possible too) after checking the flop OOP. Neway, nice pot won. My turn bet looked weakish on purpose to induce a raise from a draw or somethin. Because we were SOO sick deep and the possibility he had air and floating me i flatcalled. I checked riv because he's shoving a straight and he's shoving a busted draw or total air after floating entirely. :) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1432573

Sux that I lost that $600 tho... !!! (coolered hu at 1/2nl AA to AK ai preflop to a guy that wuz a complete jackass for winning- hope his family all dies)

8/31/07 Final Update

Actually doing this at 11:59 p.m. so to be honest this is the latest possible update for today haha. My net profit today was $1650 and my roll is $10250 so I'm happy :)

I wuz so close to folding it was sick...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1432410
Huge pot that got me with 200BB in chips VERY early...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1432265
It's sweet to be back :)

It was a Good Day

Got back from the beach today. Somewhat ok trip, but had fun when I went parasailing and kayaking. Sooo happy to be home. Been updating all my comp stuff and checkin everything and whatnot online, still installin a few things after recently upgrading to Windows Vista.

Now on to poker...played an okay session today. Started out quickly stuck ~$1k to this guy that wuz runnin RELE good against me. Came back and won $550 for session. Played 550 hands playing 35/29/3.5. BTW, this is a BIT inaccurately loose b/c I was playing a decent bit of hu.

Coolered him; looked like he wuz makin a squeeze so I flatcalled, and flop my hands so huge esp vs squeezer Imma let him have a chance to semibluff or bluff-shove turn. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1431031

Won a flip http://www.pokerhand.org/?1431037

Early in session, decided to gamble, defeinitely shoulda realized he had Axdd...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1431039

Looked like he wuz makin a play with Jxcc, Qxcc, etc. I shoved. He runs rele good vs me...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1431042

Earliest big pot in session where he'd been very aggro and been sorta bluffing. I just can't let go of this hand HU unless the guy's a COMPLETE rock. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1431046 Safest turn in the world came, so I stuck the $ in.

Hopefully my CR vids will work soon- I might just have to find a codec for them. Lots of good cash game vids I'm lookin forward to. Gonna enjoy my Quizno's honey bourbon chicken now, watch some CR vids hopefully, and then chill w/ friends tonite. Oh and btw, I'm staked in the Sunday Million this week (60/40 but w/e). HOLLLA!

Beach Update

I'd say I was fairly happy with my trip to Hilton Head Island. It is a very commercialized beach with quite a few things to do in South Carolina. Have definitely thought about poker while I've been gone and looking forward to start grinding the 2/4 nl games again and the mtt's. Today I did something I've NEVER done before: Parasailing. Though the experience itself only lasted 10 minutes (being up in the air), it was a lot of fun. Very scary rising (highest point was 500 feet in air) but the view was magnificent and it was a great day altogether. No other real updates- I leave for VA tomorrow but should get back Friday. It will be a drive of ~10.5 hours (!) and I'll have to spend the night probably in North Carolina. Had fun but will definitely enjoy being back home to my friends, car, and poker.

8/24/07 COMMMEBACK

Ok, the bad news is, I did not get to deal at the game. It was not going to happen tonite. But it supposedly happens 3x a week, so hopefully I can get in as long as the others aren't weary about my age (under 21).

Good news- My original roll after stopping at 1pm this afternoon was $6500. I have grinded periodically throughout the day and rollled myself up to $9325! Ship it! To celebrate, I'll have to play some donkaments tonite. Maybe the Nightly Hundred Grand ($162 buyin) starting at 9, but definitely the $55 6max nlhe (starting in 13 mins). PT Stats for overall day: played 2600 hands, winning $124 @-.55BB/100 on avg playing 35/29/3 ( a little off because I was playing a decent bit of hu, where I was stuck at the most $1400 and then bounced back to winnn :) and untilted.

Not to mention I also won ~$1200 in plo today. So PLO saved me- my dark enemy has come to my aid lol.

Hands:
Earlier hand that to be honest, I was very close to folding. His line looked SOO much like a set it was sick. However, I realized pretty much one over and a flush draw from an average player would shove here, so therefore I called and held. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1406995

Funny hand from HU... the action was SICK fast and I wuz pretty tilted. He had just hit a rele nasty suckout on me. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407001

Sickly disgusting 3 outer he put on me... and who shoves $550 into a ~$55 pot? Yea, shoving 10x with just top pair 2nd kicker on a sick drawy board is a BAD idea, even heads up! lol. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407008

As you can see I got pretty tilted with calling AI with T high. Of course he flopped quads and gg'ed that buyin lol. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407012

Another tilting preflop call. He seriously ran well tho in those preflop 60-40's...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407014

AND THEN I COME BACK WITH A VENGEANCE!

Donno if this is ez fold the way the game had been playing. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407016

Sick pot I won where I had some very nice instincts. I thought shoving the turn would be bad since obviously only better hands would call me, and at best he had 6 outs and there was a definite chance he'd bluff off the rest of his chips. His turn bet looked like it just wanted to take the pot from some sort of float with like AQ with a club or some flush draw/straight draw. That was because it was a smallish bet. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407017

Misclicked preflop, but I LOOOOVE my postflop line. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407019

One of my sickest bluffs ever. Betting $120 into a ~$440. I pretty much knew exactly that he had AK. The fact that he got THAT far with the hand sickened me. He definitely gave me a scare on the river by tanking, but then he folded :). He was very weak-tight but at the same time a huuuge calling station. Definitely this is a hand I will laugh about for a while. Donks just think about praying for their card to come, but they'll just c/f if they miss. Ez pickins lol. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407022

Those were the most interesting hands- in the $55 6max tourney with only 95 people. $5k prize pool, first gets $1800. Definitely money I would appreciate, but this tourney's more for fun. I'm so happy I got unstuck in NLHE and made a nice profit. I will definitely play more 2/4 hu nl, 2/4 6max nl, and 2/4 6max plo.

LOL Donkaments while writing this check out the call I just made. I couldn't put him on Ax and Jx definitely doesn't play like this. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1407043

Hope I enjoy the beach- will probably post in another 4days with beach status report and will grind some more. RELE wunna reach Supernova (by December 31 of this year). I need ~78k VPPs more, and have already earned ~23k in since the beginning of august. I think I can definitely squeeze by but it'd be close and I'll def have to keep loggin hands at $2/4nl+!

Oh, and btw, MTT epiphony- play any buyin event, just dont play the huge fields THAT often because the complete DONKS come to the smaller ones, not the ranked players. Holla!!

VERRY Quick Update

Grinded some $5/10 and $10/$20 LHE, including two heads up tables and two 6 max of each level. Roll is now $7k. Now Stuck $900 for day :). Happy again. Reports probably tomorrow about the game tonite, and then off to HiltonHead beach for up to a week. I'm gonna miss playing poker while I'm there!

Unlucky at $2/$4nl

Ok, so I rele did not run well today at all. Played probably a 2 hour session and lost ~$1500. Probably lost more than that in NLHE but did very well in PLO and efinitely made the sickest call ever for me. My PT says I lost $2k (5 buyins) in 1300 hands playing 28/23/3.5 losing 17bb/100. This was not the happiest of sessions...I thought I played quite well to be honest, and just got coolered/unlucky a lot.

Bad beats: A perfect 3 outs, and after insta check-minraising turn, he instashoved riv. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405897

Not a bad beat here, but a shove on an attempted resteal. Didn't get to suck out :-( http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405898

I was going to give up on this hand but got coolered to hit my set...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405902

Losing flip http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405905

Cooler where I maybe coulda folded flop but as played by just betting/calling the flop, I thought he would shove a fairly wide range of like two pairs/combo draws/ATss and shit like that I thought I had to call. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405906

Some winners, and the last hand will be my SIIIICK PLO RIVER CALL!
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405907

I still got value tho the flush hit :) I didn't rele notice how small his bet was in relation to the size of the pot. It screamed overpair to me and he wanted to get raised. I'm quite surprised it was just 77. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405908

Shoulda been an easy c/rai turn for him but he played it coy and it cost him, allowing me to hit my 8 outs. This was a very drawy board so c/c is bad. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405910

LOOL soo sick my one suckout... thought he had like Axcc or somethin. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405912

Woulda been a sick valueshove on riv. Don't understand this guy's play but the 8 on the turn rele screwed him up from bluffin me :) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405913

TalentedTom, who held cards over me NUMEROUS times in position, with just slightly better hands, valuetowned himself here. I went for value on this riv from maybe 77 or 88, then he raised me. I realized he oculdn't be repping much at ALL, and Kx is not in his range, so rele no hand made sense except for a bluff. I made a nice call, and he berated me, saying "I thought u were decent." Yea, he's a real fag. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405918

And for the MOTHER OF ALL CALLS. I checked the flop because I felt I would get c/r a lot, so I took the freebie. On the turn I think calling is ok. I assumed because of his bet size he did not have the nuts, because normaly people with the nuts on that board just instapot it. Therefore I called assuming my 2 was good, maybe A, and definitely a diamond. getting good odds to call to hit 11 possibly 13 outs and bust him. He bet the riv big. I thought for a long time and realized he had something like Ks and a straight draw he turned into a bluff, and probably would not vbet a set or some sort of two pair on this riv. I went with my tuition, and low and behold, my read was right! :) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1405850

Ok so my roll is $6500, started at $7900, so I actually lost $1400 not $1500. I went really deep and got 44th in the $20 rebuy, being in for probably $160 total. I lost 44 to 77 and I got fairly lucky to get that deep but w/e, still disappointing. I will move back to $1/$2nl for a few sessions then take more shots at $2/$4. I'm very happy I didn't tilt because I realized I was lucky enough to win that huge tourney that got me playing this high in the first place. Without it, I'd be a fairly sitting duck still grinding the .25/.50 or .50/1 and maybe taking ridiculous stupid shots. I have a good roll now, so I'm happy. Perhaps I'll just play $1/$2nl with like ~$6k roll and just cash out everything past it? Swings at $2/$4nl r so sick I mite not even wanna play it; we'll see.

On a side note, installed Vista. Had to reinstall everthing but it wasn't THAT big of a deal. I like the new look and feel of Vista, though still getting used to a few ins and outs. I will miss recording TV shows that my Media Center pc could do, but w/e. I might still be able to buy a software package to allow me to do that since I still have my remote, receiver, and TV tuner card all set up.

Tonight I will go to a poker game from 8:30 or so till 2:30. Very excited this will be the first time going. My friend finally got me into the game. Unfortunately, I will be dealing, but maybe I can play from the box (play AND deal), or someone else can maybe deal and I can get in on the game. I'll bring $1500 in cash from me and my friend will prob let me borrow up to 600 or somethin if I need to.

In conclusion, still happy with my play on stars and very happy I got pretty much everything set up on Vista fairly quickly. Will grind the $1/$2nl and if I keep making good money, I jus won't move up. $1/$2nl 6max as well as 1/2nl hu can pay very high dividends for someone w/o a real job, so maybe I'll just stick to that, MAYBE with occasional shots at $2/$4 for some big scores if I don't mind the swings...

Shot at 2/4 NL and Nightly 8/23 Update

Wow, first of all, I think this ties or is SLIGHTLY under the biggest pot I've ever won. However, it's the biggest pot as far as BBs ive ever won- 600!! The guy was willing to bluff 300BB off with AQ on that board? HOLY SHT! I liked the flop check to get action from weaker hands like TT and JJ later, but DAMN! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1403795

Some ill-timed bluffs lol: http://www.pokerhand.org/?1403818
Bad idea because I rele wasn't repping anything except slowplayed something, and put this guy on maybe a mid pair or something with his line. Riv bet wuz SPEEWWW. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1403822

EZ turn fold I'm an idiot...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1403830

Pretty much only bad beat: Definitely wanted to trap this guy because I put him EXACTTLY on a mid pair and figured he'd shove to isolate. He backdoored the wondeful hearts for the sidepot, while the main pot wuz won by some guy shoving KJ like a donkey with no FE. Well done to both of them...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1403837

A few random big pots:
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1403839

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1403841

Overall I think I played very well and solid, so I'm very pleased with my performance at 2/4. I will continue to play there until I drop too much by feeling like I'm getting outplayed or playing poorly.

Stats: 29/24/5 winning $904 @ 17bb/100 in 650 hands.

I would say the 2/4 game on stars is pretty comparable to Full Tilt, tho I'd probably say a bit easier because not QUITE as aggro preflop, therefore causing me to have to make less marginal decisions for all of my chips. I will make sure to put in some more hands at $2/$4nl and hopefully pick my bluff spots a bit better. The thing is people were playing back at me a bit because I was very aggressive, which is why I tried those bluff attempts. I definitely had outs if I was called, but at the same time, I would expect them to just not connect with the flop and be reraising me fairly light and had to assume they didn't have a hand capable of calling the bluffs with. Oh, btw, tonight I will be upgrading my comp to Windows Vista. My Media Center edition was definitely fun, but it's become buggy and I need a new video decoder software to watch my recorded TV and all. I might just get Tivo in the future.
Roll=$8150
*Oh, and BTW, I'm now a PlatinumStar member, and think I can squeeze by getting SuperNova Status by Dec 31!! That'd be really sick.

8/23 Late Morning Update

Ok, won $900 this session (about 1.5 hours). $700 in NLHE and $200 in PLO. Had some major donks at my table and got sucked out on, but at the same time, a lot of hands held so I'm happy. Most bluffs were successful as well, tho I didn't run as many. I think I'm going to be playing 9 tables at a time for a while. As many tables as I can NL$200 and the rest will be PLO$200. I played very well and solid today because I wanted to play and I had no AIM and was definitely focused even on probably all the games, even picking up some reads.

NLHE Stats today...1445 hands playing 32/27/3.75 winning $800@ 17.5 bb/100 (i duno y it says I won $800 I only won $700 at NLHE). No particularly interesting hands from today, so will be from last nite.

Hands from last nite:
This one from last nite HU. This guy had been running SO good vs me and I wuz stuck ~$600 to him. I had AQ and stuck it all in pf with $300 total and he happened to have KK, and I had 77 and he had 99 when I had $200 total. So... pissed off at first. This is how I got unstuck :) He should ahve definitely stuck the $ in on the turn because I don't think I coulda called. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1402350

He hits his draw as 2.5:1 underdog on riv http://www.pokerhand.org/?1400104

I had the intuition I wuz good on the flop, and I was, but he sucked out. I thought I wuz a much bigger fav than I was tho (70-30 on flop and 67-43 on turn). Still pissed me off. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1400953

LOL was fucking around in the 5card draw games. Actually pretty fun for a change. Won a nice little pot on this sick hand. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1399145

Took a shot at $2/$4 PLO and was fairly stuck at this point (but not in this game). I hit my wrap on the riv in this pot. I originally wondered how he could stick all this money in on that board to a single raise, then I realize I reraised it. I wuz a bit tilted haha. Flop win %= 55 and on turn I wuz 60:40 dog. I thought I had a full wrap and had a higher win %. I still have some stuff to learn about PLO, but I thought this wuz standard, and I put him on a similar hand to what he had so I thought potting the turn had some FE. I was definitely committed and getting 3:1 to call the shove on that turn tho. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1400950

Cooler in MTT that began my downfall as 2nd in chips VERY early http://www.pokerhand.org/?1398960

A complete donk valuetowned himself for me lol. I coulda prob gotten his whole stack, but, I pussied out in the moment. He was a COMPLETE idiot. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1400302

I held in this huge pot where he couldn't get away from AA, but it is pretty hard to I cannot blame him. Turn spade scared me but riv bricked. This wuz sick early in tourney, and I was chiplead. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1398756

PLO hand where I shoved with TP+NFD and backdoor straight draws vs an overaggro donk. He called with J high flush draw, weaker pair, and gutshot. Lol well played. This is why I play PLO- even people at $1/$2 cannot play worth a shit most likely. I'd say at $3/$6 plo the regulars get pretty good, and probably even 2/4, but most of the 1/2 plo regs are not that good.

Alrite Roll is $7050. I'll prob play a session later today. Oh, and btw, I think I got a dealing job this friday nite so holla! Then I leave for Hiltonhead beach the next day so hopefully I'll sleep next day in the car.

PLZ FCKIN KILL ME

I FUCKING MISCLICKED MYSELF OUT OF THE TOURNEY WITH 20bb. I had QT completed sb, bb checked (there was an UTG limper). Flop JQ6r. I check bb checks, limper bets 1800 into the 2600. I call. Turn is Ad. Two diamonds out and straight possible. I meant to put in 2600 and fold to a raise, but i accidentally put a zero and typed 26000, thus putting me all in with my remaining stack of 9500. He thinks and calls with AA. River T to sting me even worse. Fuck me... Here's the hh that proves I'm not immortatal in the early stages and started my downswing, as well as losing a 7k chip pot (~35bb pot) with 55 to KJ because two pair on riv counterfeited my 55... I hate tournies lol... perhaps I'll stick to the 6max ones? http://www.pokerhand.org/?1398960 I'll try to stop posting less in a day. Perhaps I'll even just post once a day but the prob is I'm normaly too lazy at nite or just simply not home, so we'll c.

On a hopeful note, I'll be looking for some MTT stakes from my friend (one I wuz playing hu- the only good person yet). I would like a stake in some 215s (like Sunday Mill and Warmup) and some of the 162s. Will play some bball later today and try to cool off from my misclick.. I should prob take a little more time to make sure wut I'm betting. At least I only lost the $22 buyin lol. I'm still quite happy I came back for today and only wuz stuck $300 since I WAS stuck $900.

Sick LHE Comeback and Sick MTT start

Decided to fuck around at $5/$10 LHE games, so I jumped into 3 of them. My roll started at $5800. I started out playing sorta dumb and got stuck 20BB/$200. Proceeded to run VERY well and end up $600. 160 big bet swings in like 30 mins? That's pretty crazy for LHE. Played very solidly- I definitely understand the game very well now IMO. The Cardrunners vids of Shneids have definitely helped. Some principles of NLHE also help my LHE game. I wonder personally how people move from LHE to NLHE because I think there are many aspects of LHE that hinder one's NLHE game. For instance, always betting with A high and overs or gutshot+over in position and all CAN be useful, but most likely if u get c/c on flop and no scarecard hits the turn, it's best to play pot control. There is NO pot control in LHE because people correctly treat A high like it's the nuts, which is correct a decent bit of the time because with good odds people peel gutshots regularly and all. I've learned to make lots of thin vbets I wouldn't normally make in LHE, fold some hands I didn't used to fold, and make bluffs in unlikely spots, figuring with my opponent's range they simply cannot call (A high or small pair) on all overcard board with some connectors and maybe some suits. I've also gotten better at playing mid/small pairs, especially in RR pots. A lot of LHE is running well, but at the same time if you just understand how to bluff and when a hand has showdown value, you can definitely win. I now understand how people can grind even the mid stakes LHE games and can earn a decent living lol.

In the $20k gtd $22 buyin on stars... 939 left out of 1137. Prize order...$4889, $2690, and $1819. Rite now level 25/50 I have 5575 in chips so I'm happy. I'm getting more serious about my MTT game and I'm happy. I think my overall focus is better now since I won that big MTT, knowing that I'm certainly capable of winning or getting a big score without doing crazy resteals and calldowns and whatnot, and more chipping away and playin some small pots. Here's a hand where I doubled up early and I really like my line of donkbetting into this field, assuming at least ONE of them has AK or AQ. I'm sure if they have AQ here there not getting away from it, which is y I bet turn to induce a shove, becuz by some miracle a c/rai mite induce a fold. Luckily I coolered someone, and I'm very ahppy that the guy who made the smallish reraise was a big donk and like never has AA or KK there, but he built the pot for me and set it up so I could double up if I hit my 7.5:1 shot :) Wish me luck in this one... and btw my $4673 score is now on my p5's profile hollaaa.

LHE stats- 36/28/3.4 winning $642.5 @ 18.57BB/100

MTT updates to come-prob will play some more later tonite...

Morning Update

Cooling off a bit... Lost $1k today. Had a $1200 (6 BI swing at 1/2 nl). Ran badly vs an idiot that called EVERYTHING and was very weak-passive. He kept hitting cards over me and I couldn't pair up. He'd check it down with mid pair in a reraised pot itw as good, etc.

Lost a $200 heads up tourney but won a $100 one.
656 hands- 34/31/5 in combined heads up and 6max, tho in 6max probably played more like 27/22/4. Lost $800 at -31BB/100 (lol).
Not angry because I'm still very happy I can play $1/$2nl comfortably. I merely negated yesterday's running hot. Now I completely realize the swings of these limits are so big that I definitely don't want to take many shots at $2/$4nl. At $8k I will take a 4tabling shot, and will have a stop-loss BI of 2, and a stop-win BI of 3. It's more just to see how the games are. If the games r sick juicy, I will stake longer than 3, but these rules are just an outline for the most part.

Luckily I ran well vs a friend and beat him for $530 hu. I ran better than him, but I think we both definitely played well. He's a better player than me, tho I play him because of ego and It's a challenge ;)

Hands:
Coolered him on the riv but someone surprised he made this call. Probably due to the fact that I snapshoved. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1396513

This guy played SOO RIDIC LOOSE/BAD/FISHY. He got me pretty tilted after this beat. These are the guys I've been running badly against...I couldn't put him on a hand that I lose to on the river tbh the way he'd been playing. I figured it would be a hand like 69 or 68, maybe even total float. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1396169

Rele pushed my equity vs AAxx preflop (obvious AA) and backdoored a straight. Percentages: 55% fav to aces (lol I thought my hand wuz fav... still have a bit to learn about plo). Flop: 80-20 fav aces Turn... Aces 3:1 fav. So yea, I def got lucky but I wunted to gambooool a bit.

Vs this guy I wuz getting sooo frustrated HU I called the river!! Another fucking 2 outer!!! Well done shithead. Plz play me for my house and college fund. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1396185

Dodging 20 outs, but I did not put the $ in on the flop. I called the flop and open shoved safe turn... I definitely like this line on boards like these. Stop n Go is an effective cash game play IMO. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1398248 (he wuz 60-40 fav on flop and 57-43 underdog on turn). Tho he was getting the correct price to call turn shove (~2:1).

Shouldn't have tried to bluff in the first place but sucked out vs this RIDICULOUS calling station! Thought he had like 55 or 66 and couldn't call...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1398275

I raised this flop fairly big to look like I had overs, and then I bet weakly on the turn, EXPECTING to get c/rai with like any two. My line looked like weak mid pair or overs because I knew this guy wuz aggro enough to shove on me on the turn. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1396070 It's good to set things up in ur head and have them go rite.

Vs a COMPLETE FUCKING Idiot... shoved river instead of flatcalling because I just couldn' tput him on backdoor diamonds- I thought he had two pair or regular 3 high straight. There's definitely value in shoving river vs him. Wonderful peels by him his j4dd obv good on turn. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1396411

Had no choice but to bet and commit myself to this flop IMO. Wondeful what he called the reraise with with his stack size. Std 3 outer and I can't suck out to double this stupid fuckface up. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1396391

I hope all the donks who sucked out on me play me again or die a horrible death. Thank You.
BTW I'm only getting pissed looking back on these hands, but having a $5800 roll is still more than adequate and I got plenty lucky in my tourney to suck or resuck out on people a few times that won me tons of $, so w/e. I'll continue to play hu vs idiots but if they keep calling my reraises OOP light, I'll just stop reraising light and play postflop with smaller pots. I'll adapt to the fishies. Hopefully I'll have a nice upswing tomorrow.

Late Morning Session

Happily moved up after my tourney win from struggling to grind .25/.50 to 5tabling 1/2nl. Ended up winning 2 buyins. I think I played very well and focused and try not to be so fancy and resteal/resqueeze.. etc. Roll=$5850

Hands:
I decided to have this big bluff. Tho this guy wuz an idiot/fish/calling station, I put him on 9x. There's like no way he can call riv so I shoved...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1394926

Hands from before tourney win:

Sick value from a donk who I put on QJ or somethin so I valueshoved turn. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1393025

This guy was the biggest idiot at the table and couldn't fold ANYTHING! I raised flop to try to steal it but he called. I luckily hit turn and everything bricked... shocked at his calldown it's worse than what he'd normally do. I might get bak into plo but swings r so sick. Fortunately people play TERRIBLY! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1393683

Fun two outer on turn in a pot that woulda increased my bankroll by like 20% if I woulda won. This tilted me like shit...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1393653

Got lucky here... I knew I was ahead of Kankistiini who plays rele bad so I shoved... I sucked out on nut flush :). Kankistiini is so bad he stuck it all in with HEAVY ACTION with top and bottom on monotone flop? Absymal http://www.pokerhand.org/?1393067

What goes around comes around a little later (!) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1393107

Huge hand that I won where I had a very good hand and hit the ideal flop to bust someone with bare aces or w/e... but he had top and bottom no redraw... very close decision but I probably call if I wuz the guy with AA too in that spot cuz I'm shoving any draws and there's tons of $ in pot. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1392593

My early suckout in tourney when I was fairly short on chips :) I stuck it twice in badly preflop- the rest I was ahead so I'm proud of myself. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1393727

Going to keep grinding $1/$2nl happily and it still gives me a decent rush. More updates to come...

I have attained NIRVANA (poker-wise)

Holy shit, I will not be able to sleep tonite no doubt. It's 5 in the morning. I've been playing this tourney for ~6 hours. JUST GRINDING, CHIPPING AWAY, NOT GAMBLING OR TRYING TO TAKE COINFLIPS. I sucked out 4 times whole tourney...TT to QQ when low on chips EARLY, AJ to 99 when I won the flip and hit J on river, KK to a4 I got it all in pre and A4 flopped, but turn K! And then I rivered this guy who called a raise with Q6 BLIND ON BLIND in final 3 of the tourney. Flop came 633 two spades. I cbet 24k into the 32k he called. Turn Qh. I checked, he bet ~40k, I c/rai for like 125k on top he called with his q6. AND I RIVERED MY 6 OUTER! YES! Final hand I raised to 22k (2.5x on button) with AK, guy reraised to 72k with 89o, I shoved, he called. Flop came K25 two diamonds (no diamonds in either of our hands). Turn Tx and that was the END! $77 tourney $10k gtd 6max... FIRST GETS $4750! SHIP IT! I wuz down to $800 sorta pissed because I was at $1500 at the peak of today and just sorta bluffed tons off in PLO. Holy shit... I will grind $1/$2nl using pt and am SO FREAKING AHPPY HOLY CRAP. And I'm deifnitely grinding using br management now I have a good roll, if I run bad I will cool down and take a break and all that. And my original rule was give 20% of profits to charity, which is DEF sticking... when I turn 21 and set up poker w/ bank account and paying taxes and all i'll ship 20% of profits to charity for sure. Wow, I cannot believe I walked away with an MTT win. SOOO happy it's unbelivable...

Hands from earlier today which mostly pissed me off to come in next post... I have to try to get some SLEEP!!!

Forgot to Post These Two Interesting Hands

Hands from Yesterday's Session...

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1386395
Kris probably had a vpip/pfr of about 50/45. He wuz an insane idiot fish maniac. It was REALLY sick. I knew he would call me down SOOO light. By the speed of his call I expected him to have like 98 with a heart and would call this riv. LOL at wut he rivered tho...pretty funny and sick. Not even bad players woulda gotten this far with this hand, so he's like... the worst of the worst. I'd probably play him for my house.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1386432 Complete ridic bullshit vs a complete donk. I played it standard and I duno wut to say. He's a dumbshit- i wuz a 947:16 fav LOOOL (~60:1). Turn I was a 19:1 fav, and of course the river... :-(

SUPERBAD!!

I rele think this movie deserves it's own post aside fromt he poker...Saw it last nite and it was completely unbelievable. The humor is so raw it's completely hilarious. The actors fit the roles PERFECTLY, especially Judd Apatow and the fat kid with the jewfro he works with...? I cannot remember his name- anyway prob best comedy of whole year even more than Knocked Up (also with Judd and that kid!). I hope there r many more movies to come with those actors. It's also hilarious how close to reality the story really is for people that age. It completely reflects what normal high skool life is like. The ending was also pretty satisfying fortunately. I'm definitely looking forward to buying that movie on dvd, along with Transformers and Knocked up.

Slowly Comin Back

Roll= $650 (was $800 but I'm so whipped to CardRunners that I sent the payment for another 6 months...) Played okay yesterday sick variance my highest point was $1075 and lowest $300... geeez! So happy I got back up!

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1389669

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1389674 - cooler for him- actually an interesting line taken by him. I didn't like it at first but now I like it because it looks like some sort of draw and may convince me to go broke w/ an overpair. The only prob is if I have a draw, then I'm folding the turn... w/e.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1389697

Big call w/ no reads...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1389716

My WHOLE fucking day!! This guy wuz SOO bad...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1389763

On the comeback trail...yeaa...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1389823

Home... a little disappointed...

VERY ECSTATIC I'm home to see all my friends and relax, but at the same time, not running so hot in pokaa. Will post Many hands:

Some definite coolers and bad beats, as well as probably some unsuccessful bluffs. Some days I just feel like bluffing so much becuase I am so sure people are weak, but people NEVER FOLD A HAND EVER! I have been losing all my flips and 60/40's and it's getting really sick.

O great, roll is $450 after this hand... yes my turn shove is a bit weak but I had SOO MANY OUTS!! He was INSTAPOTTING... CAN'T I FCKING CHOP OR FILL ONE DAY!!?

Oh and BTW, lost JJ to QQ in my MTT... coolers = fun :)
I should take a few days off poker and chill to regain focus!

Culinary Epiphony and Brief Update

This vacation so far has not been terrible, tho probably not quite enjoyable. However, my stay at Cannon Beach (tonight will be the third and last nite) has been quite pleasant. I've grown to appreciate the beach more than I did when I was younger, and realize now how fun it would be to come here on a road trip with a group of friends. Tomorrow is my last day at the beach, and tomorrow night my last nite away from Vienna, Virginia!!! I'm so excited to get bak to a normal diet, normal sleep schedule, LOTS OF POKERSTARS GRINDING :) :) , and probably most importantly all the friends I miss. It's very nice though having a facebook and other mediums of communication to contact one's friends because when you're away for so long (in my case 3 weeks), it becomes quite lonesome to not have many people to relate to.

Food conclusion/Culinary Epiphone- eating out at nice restaurants constantly, even when the bill is not paid by you, gets rather dull and one begins to appreciate food they prepare themselves more than the food from skilled chefs. I've definitely noticed this with any food I eat at restaurants somewhat frequently. The list of foods- Chicken, all chinese food, steak, and really any other kind of food I've had even once before that I can remember the taste of. While out here, I was very happy I had Cajun halibut at a restaurant which I was quite pleased with. Unfortunately, due to guilt that would result from ordering it, I did not have crab or lobster. The crab and lobster dishes were pretty much the most costly on the menus, in the neighborhood of about $32 each. Anyway, don't eat out too much because you will lose appreciation and food just won't taste as good, not to mention your wallet will certainly become lighter...

As far as poker goes, I'm very happy with the overall way I've played when I did get to play at my Grandpa's retirement home. I'm so happy I got that money shipped on Stars, and I'm looking forward to grinding for fun at home WITH MY POKERTRACKER (!) and reviewing sessions. Poker is seriously a great game because it not only provides stimulation in that part of your mind that simply is unreachable without poker/gambling IMO, but also gets you thinking in a way that is so logical and not merely set in the present that it is truly a unique experience. Those who think about poker on a deep level get hooked because of it's seemingly simple, yet really it's got so many layers and thinking levels. Actually, the better you get at poker, the more you question even the most standard playing lines, especially when the stacks get deeper, and you're also most likely always playing versus different opponents almost every session. The best poker players are like aggressive chameleons, changing their play but always adapting to the situations. Definitely will update with PT stats and be completely honest about my sessions to come. To be honest, a blog is a very rewarding experience for a serious poker player because I can definitely say I've enjoyed looking at my past blog posts and how I've played hands. I've learned from different things, and especially after explaning the thought processes that went into the hands and the lines I took, I think I've become definitely a better player. I definitely feel very well right now that I will soon be back in VA with my car, friends/good times, and just grinding for the competition and appreciation for the game. Plus I hopefully will make some $$ to spend because I still have a bit of the summer to live out, hopefully in an exciting and somewhat lavish manner :)

FUCKING HELL FUCKING VARIANCE PIECE OF SHIT!

Ok, stop loss limit is now 2.5 BI!!! Fucking coolers all this morning unbeliavble... just took my 2nd mid set to top set loss on a drawy flop to an overplaying donk! Then I lost another hand where I made my straight by an idiot slowplaying a turned flush and minraises the river and I'm commited to call. WTF IS UP WITH TODAY FUCKING SHIT!

Roll=$1156. Going to find nearest bridge...

8/14/07

At least the last poker blog since the 18th- sry for all these extra updates!

*Remember I do updates during my sessions and link the interesting hands.

Reassuring to know people still play like this :) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369160

Obv he'd have AK by the rr size imo- and I don't like his reshove on UTG opener http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369177

He snapcalled WHOLE WAY! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369174

Good bluff and for metagame... i assume he had a big pair and I liked his bet on turn and knew he was solid enough to fold it http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369185

Well played u dumbass (we've had history of me coming over the top of him, especially light) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369213

I decided to gamble because there was a 2nd guy in the pot...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369233 that I could get to fold T8 no redraw

Shoved turn because money in pot...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369239

fucking hell... a reraise with ATo? snapcalling flop and snapcalling AI on turn for the 3:1 shot on the riv? FCK! (no hh)

Frustration!!
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1369250

Done blogging for now its bad luck- roll is $1300 SOO close to quitting!!!

Pt 2 of 8/13/07 Session

Inducing bluff from fish/donk http://www.pokerhand.org/?1367058

Std cooler for me...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1367063

dumb fancy crap...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1367100

Bad river check by me but I expectd him to be floating and all the draws missed... we have history so I assumed he'd bluff. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1367132

Top two with wheel draw and NFD in a multiway pot- I decided to gamble and hope for the best tho his lined looked strong. Vs bare set it wuz like exactly 50-50. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1367146

Ill check my preflop equity later... http://www.pokerhand.org/?1367178

Roll is $1585- gonna quit in 30 mins for dinner, and that will be my last blog post i think until the 18th. Gonna play solid in the 1/2 plo and hope to get somethin goin

Feeling a bit better and Not Tilted...

Winning ~$200 today after about an hour 6tabling .25/50 and .50/1 shortstacked at my normal games with 1 hu table that I'm down ~$60 at. Playing well not tilted- today's a new day :)
On a side note yesterday saw bourne ultimatum- grandpa hated it too much action made him dizzy lol. Mom and I both rele liked it and thought it had great action.

In PLO I've started rr much lighter but with VERY coordinated hands with good equity over almost any other hands. I'm also not reraising with bare aces, folding anything but top two fairly easily, and making better vbets. I have a feeling the Pokerstars software is making me play better than the FTP, rpobably because the longer time bank.

Oh and btw, read Townsend's blog today and he said there will be a CR podcast... i posted that in the forums I think that started with my idea! hopefully I get credit!!?!?

Some hh- Probably a bit fishy of a turn call here but I had plenty of outs to fill and some to chop if he hit nut straight, and he had enough money behind http://www.pokerhand.org/?1365484

Did I fish this one out bad? I called flop because his raise size looked like a steal...his turn bet wuz giving me a bit over 3:1 and I had the broadway nd nut diamond draw with I'm assuming K would win the pot as well. 2+9+4=15 outs x 2=~33% equity on the turn or so. So it was exactly pretty much an even $ call, and he could also be bluffing. Neway I hit my hand on the riv and shoved and he folded fairly quickly. I called the flop raise because I had reraised twice ina row and cbet the flop and got a fold. He assumed I was probably 3beting light cuz he called my reraise pretty quicky preflop. His flop raise looked like he was trying to steal from big pair IMO. C/rai on the turn had no FE so I thought calling was best if he DID have an ace. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1365504

My 4th hand reraising in a row, all the others with no showdown postflop. Been pickin on this guy a ton, and his c/minray looked like AT-AQ and he was just being an idiot. Tough laydown with the history tho, one I'd probably never make especially with my image. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1365514

Ok so played well and had really no questionable hands or bad plays IMO. Played with a clear hand- rare after tilting off lots of $ the day earlier (Lost $1400 nearly ALL my profit, only had $35 profit left lol). TBH the reason I play so long even after I'm losing is because the stimulation poker provides, and it's especialy fun considering I haven't played the Pstars software in FOREVER!! I will try to work on having something else easily lined up if poker goes awry. Easy to do if I'm at home-chill w/ friends or play bball, or xbox 360 when Halo 3 comes out... :). I haven't played 360 in forever that mite be a reason I tilt away a decnt bit is because I'm so mad I don't wanna be in contact with others and 360 is rite next to my comp- it could be an easy outlet of anger but I've gotten a bit bored of it. O well, gonna keep grinding, admitting to my mistakes and moving on. Leave for the beach tomorrow, so probably no more updates and I'm assuming no more playing- just reinstalled and removed PokerStars from this public comp. Hoping will have fun at the beach and looking forward to coming home- prob my next post will be after a session in the middle of the nite when back in Virginia!! Sounds good already ...

8/12/07 update pt 2

Hopefully coming back

good call- http://www.pokerhand.org/?1361986

REele dumb bluff his hand shoulda been obv to me... http://www.pokerhand.org/?1362003 after the raise and the overcal... damn

TBH tho, can he beat ANYTHING besides a bluff? double paired board..Not firin riv with J9, Q9, MAYBE QJ maybe...but w/e

Shit my roll is $1825... prob shouldn't try $1/$2 plo? lol..
TURN CALL UNFUCKING BELIVABLE...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1362026

OMG roll $1500...

Tilt- how does AA hold!!?http://www.pokerhand.org/?1362057

HOLY FUCKING SHIT IM SO FUCKING PISSED $1050 ROLL R U FUCKING KIDDING ME
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1362067 i wuz so fucking tilted and I thought I could bluff a spade...holy shit!!

8/12/07 Update- Not happy...

Damn this has happened to me like 4 times in the past two days where people c/r and shove a bare FD at me and hit it vs my lower FD+pair!! no kidding... http://www.pokerhand.org/?1361550

One of the luckiest calls I've EVER seen after fishing badly...in a spot where I'm almos tnever bluffing him giving him 3:1! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1361554

got rele lucky- thought stacks wer deep enough for a c/rai w/ FE, and a good chance he wuz floating

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1361573

I'm a little angry rite now... when u stop playing HU stars doesn't display the hh nemore...
Vs a rele aggro player HU I rr AK and he calls. Pot is $16. I cbet $14 on the AK5dd flop. Turn is like 6d. BTW he snapcalled flop, looking like Ax or KQ. Neway I shoved turn thinking it was for value, he snapcalled, and turned over the 47dd. Im like wowwww he has the flush this time 90% of the time he makes these thin calls wtf. Then vs an aggro player I been playin back at a lot and taking pots, he opened, I reraised to $11, he reraised to $35, and I shoved the AJo hu. He calls quickly, and to my pleasure the flop is j96, turn 5, riv 6. He has AA!! Yea, with the dynamics of both of these matches, I think I played my hands perfectly for value, and I just got coolered. Sux. Roll=$2k. Yes, It's still nice to double your roll in 3 days or w/e, so I'll hang my head high, but losing 4BI in a 1 hour session doesn't make me happy. Imma go have breakfast, prob not play the rest of the day but maybe a bit.

Saturday, August 11, 2007

I swear on my life...

I always run like shit late at nite if it's my 2nd session...I am honestly 100% sure I have not had a winning session at nite if it is my 2nd session of the dya. An example...

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1360410 sickk flop with the game dynamics...

What's so sick is that I was down to $2k, then I grinded back to $2415! Only stuck $35 in the past 1 1/4 hour session... ship it?? Also watched taylor's and andrews vids on CR- prob tomorrow will watch newcomer Jackal69 (very good player). Looking forward to it. very ahppy I have this $2400 roll and ready to just keep grindin the $.50/1 levels of nlhe, plo, and hu nlhe, perhaps even some hu plo??? My heads up game is strongest, but definitely so much variance and hard to find games on stars that they're tough to play. Cards unfortunately have a big influence on HU play. HH and all to come tomorrow... g'nite! :)

Final Recap of 8/11/07

Roll- $2450 :)
Status for today: +$750
Feels good to run good... didn't suck out much today at all but didn't get sucked out on, which feels SOO good. Had some sick bluffing opportunities where IDIOTS called me down in PLO when any DECENT player wouldn't have because my lines made sense for the nuts...Neway, can't complain this was a very big day. Feel great; bout to have some chinese for dinner. I'm freakin exhausted I played ~1.5 hour session 6 tables i wuz RELE active I'm very curious about my PT stats. Wish I had it here but I will have it by the 18th!! :)

Interesting hand where h e cbet way too little on the flop- looked like scared AQ or AK so I called flop... yay turn! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1360044

8/11/07 Afternoon Update

BTW, I'm writing this as the hh's are happening b/c i don't feel like saving them on hard drive.

I'll find this PLO hand very funny for a while...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359694

Getting Freerolled sux...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359721

Been looking for hu nl games they're definitely +EV...

People play SO bad... HE SNAPCALLED TURN!!! FUCCCK! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359813

Wow r u kidding me at his call? He INSTACALLED too!!? http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359835

*NO MORE BLUFFING FOR ME!

I like how I played this-getting it in on safe flop vs aggro player... running hearts scared me!

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359869

The game is good...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359890

getting ZERO credit after my bluffs :-)http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359895

Sweet... I wuz tilting a bit which explains preflop lol http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359926

I shoulda noticed his rr size and knew it wasn't a sqeeze...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359939

LOL?? http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359939

More hands in future... playing 200BB HU PLO with this guy who's a maniac..
roll as of now through all the variance is...$2300 SHIP IT AFTER BEING AT $1450 AT ONE POINT! (started day at $1700)

Check out this valueshove- http://www.pokerhand.org/?1359954

TEH VARIANCE!

played all $nl100 and $.50/$1 plo. Won $30 lol...wuz up to about an $1850 roll but ended at $1700. Happy I didn't lose, but disappointed I didn't win. I played a bit worse than I did yesterday but still very good IMO. I made one bad play where I opened MP 97dd and was called by SB (idiot that had it in for me and made a bet/3bet bluff on me where I shoved and he mucked). Flop the beautiful Td 3d 8h. I bet $6 into the $8, he calls. Turn 9h. I check... he bets $5. I call. River 3h- backdoor flush gets there. I check. He bets $10 into a ~$35... I shove in for $85 more. Yes, overbet, but this is good for metagame. Neway he tanks and calls me with Q9. WOW wut an idiot... I think vs good players that's a great play; how can he put me on 9x? My line looks exactly like running hearts. I guess I shoulda fired the turn or c/r it maybe... who knows... My other hand was in PLO where I had AAxx on the flop of T23hh. I had a gutshot as well btw... neway checked to me I cbet ~2/3 pot. The sb that cold-called preflop calls, and a short that limp/called from MP c/rai for like $16 more. I reshoved on the SB who had like $80 left. He called that. The turn and river pretty much bricked out and SB had set of 2's while MP had set of 3's. I know they're idiots for playing small pairs preflop. They had been fishy a bit with draws, and I figured if one of them had two pair, I wuz 3:2 dog but they could fold it I thought. Didn't expect a set... A bit of a waste of time today (hour and 15 min sesh) for $30, but that's more than wut my friends make in a normal job by far so w/e. Wish me luck tomorrow I hope to play against the same donks! Sry no hh today. Oh and btw, I begged stars for my chat privelages back, so let's hope they give them to me...

Feels Good To be Back

Roll=$1670
SHIPPIT in two days at nl$50 and nl$100 and a bit of PLO at those levels just now I've won $670 in two days; prob ~3k or 4k hands. Running well but playing great. I'm VERY focused. I'm an addict again, tho a profitable one, and will remain responsible in roll management, taking shots, etc. Definitely looking forward to getting back home but here's not bad with comp and seeing family i guess, tho definitely very dull at times. The meals are good! No real interesting hands or monster pots but I will make sure to post them as them comp with some insight. Only problem is here I cannot watch the CR vids, and my membership expires the 15th this month, tho I get bak from trip the 18th!! Pisses me off I can't watch the last few cash game vids. I would like to subscribe again, but I don't feel like paying the $ quite yet, especially since I don't think they accept stars money for payment but I'm not sure. Cr has helped tons, but I don't think ill need it for a little while so I'll see what life is like without it haha. I wil miss it tho- great vids and insight from the TOP pros in cash games and tournies- recommended to any serious poker player! I'll stop referring to CR tho- wish me luck in fuckin up the SSNL on stars! Hopefully can run well for another weak and maybe reach a $3k roll??? Steady roll for NL$100 and on my way to NL$200 would be nice- tho I do hear the low-mid stakes on stars are all regs; maybe I'll switch all my money to FTP in that case and leave a bit of money on stars for some big tourneys... PCE OUT

LOL

honestly like 10 secs later after my last blog post this hand happened... I SNAPCALED THE TURN...I thought my bet size was perfect to induce a shove from a float. I figured he at least had some backdoor draw LOOL. Knew he was an idiot :)

HU vs a donk...

Hu vs a complete donko I think is a 2p2er...our match has been rele aggro and he's been playing like an idiot and getting lucky... after one hand where he had a FD and hit running Q's vs my TPGK he said TY after I called his all in.

I shoulda shoved turn but I put him on low clubs to where he was drawing real slim, and he would bluff if he missed riv. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1355422

Here I made a sick valueshove that tilted him, putting him exactly on 99 or JJ... he played rele transparent here.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1355419

I decided he'd shove any J, maybe Tx, any OESD, or any FD...

SHIT GAY NITE

grinded for the whole nite at 2 tables of .50/1 and .25/.50,then took a shot at the .50/1 hu game vs an unknown. Bought in for $70, worked it up to $400 the guy wuz tilting like the biggest idiot maniac calling station ever. We ended up 220BB deep when I picked up AA on the button. Raised to 3, he rereraised to 11. He wuz 3beting like crazy. I 4bet to $34 (last time I did it with T8o), he shoved as I predicted. I SNAPCALLED. Flop KT8 all spades (I had red aces), turn 5s, river 9x. He has QxQs. I'm like WOWOWOWOWOW WTF. Unreal... 400BB pot i stick it in as 4:1 fav wtf. I have $1100 in my account, so decent win today, but SHIT im pissed. I'm way overdue at this comp i need to get bak to my room ASAP. Grinding tomorrow to begin and prob some hu action.

The Light Emerges

From the clouds of this "vacation" has emerged the sun's beautiful rays. I'm referring metaphorically to the fact that my $1k shipment got through on Stars. I played today for 15 mins (clicked run for the software on the pokerstars site) and uninstalled when I finished. I ran sorta well, but played very well. I think after long breaks I tend to the play my A-plus game, probably because my head's clear, I'm not trying to make very fancy plays, and my overall drive just makes me do well. I will hopefully play 30 mins or an hour per day in 30 min intervals because technically these are computers for the residents, and I'm not a resident of this retirement home lol (visiting Grandpa). I ended up $87 today. No hh, tho I was playing 3 handed at one table with two deepstacked aggro players, flatcalled the button's raise with Aces, C/r his cbet on JTx rainbow flop, and stacked him for $100 pot. The other hands I took down the pot with small cbets, or the occasional two-barrel bluff. I think the games on stars are actually better than on Full Tilt from what I saw today and what I've heard... tho from such a TINY sample I'll need to play much longer for me to tell. when I get back home i'll make sure to have many interesting hands posted with my thought processes and PT stats as well as hopefully PAHUD, but we'll c. Updates to come on my progress at NL$50 and NL$100 (50BB stacks). Screw grinding NL$25 unless I run bad/play bad. This time I actually WILL MOVE DOWN If I lose a decent bit of $ and be honest with myself. That should make a big diff....

Quick Update before Sleep

Ok, need to get up at 7am tomorrow to leave for Oregon. Flying to PDX from Oakland International Airport...shouldn't be so bad tho just a long flight, tho I ALWAYS get sick gay jetlag and i HATE waiting in the airport. With a web-accessible PSP and fully-charged video ipod, it shouldn't be so bad. Neway, found out about an interesting medical remedy- Noni Juice. Some south-American fruit- it intrigues me and seems too good to be true but w/e has MANY uses; go ahead and google it.

On the poker side of things, I unfortunately did not reach my friend in time to get my $1k xfer on Stars, tho I have resolved teh password issue and regardless of whether I know my pass or not, I can still get a new temp password then switch it. I also plan on switching the email registered to my account to my more secure email address, designated to poker and other financial interests solely. I'm definitely looking forward to playing in 10 days and chillin w/ all my friends when I get bak, as well as going bak to the bball courts in my neighborhood to c everyone, perhaps get into that home game w/ a friend I met there. BTW, inspired by Barry Greenstein himself, I have decided to play donkaments fairly frequently in addition to cash games, tho I will donate 20% of my net profits to a children's charity, tho not exactly sure which one yet. I will probably calculate it at the end of the year. I will definitely work on my MTT game because rele the people r pretty bad and honestly if I have my patience I actually have a lot of confidence in how I play in MTTs.

I unfortunately will have my subscription to CR expire August 15th!!! :-( :-( It has been great learning from them, and when I start making $ hopefully from this xfer to stars, starting to grind the super small nl cash games and small tourneys, I can get enough $ together for another years subscription (I could afford it but i wanna see how I do first with this because getting an income is nice to pay for shit). CR is 100% FUCKING WORTH IT BY FAR IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE. I've paid like $250 counting my starting fee and 6 months of subscription- worth every penny. One day i hope to become a subscriber prob for the rest of my life. I imagine they're not going anywhere. Such sick pros with great vids and explanations, resulting in many interesting scenarios where everything changes between certain players and the history with them. Primarily probably recognized for their cash game vids which are phenominal, I think they're MTT vids are also good and the pros that make them are certainly reputable (ActionJeff from before, lately MKind and AaronBeen- ranked p5ers). I'm looking forward to catching up on all the vids I've missed on my trip after renewing my subscription after hopefully only a week or so of grinding.

In conclusion, I've decided to lay out monthly goals:

1. Get $1k xfer before the 18th
2. By the end of August win 16BI as profit ($400)
3. Have ~30BI roll to take a shot at $50nl
4. Develop a lifting and nutritional plan (including noni juice) to go throughout the year
5. Work for some ladies
6 . Get some good grades for the whole year (which I have very high expectations of doing)
7. Study all my sessions after recording via Hypercam recordings and look at my PT databases, reviewing hands and finding holes, as well as posting some tricky hands on 2P2
8. GET SOME BLOG TRAFFIC (lol that would make me happy seriously...)

Goodnight

Ship It

I think i'm getting $1k tonite on stars!! unfortunately I get bak in town where I will have access to my own comp the 18th- i will make sure to grind $.10/$.25 and definitely squeeze in some donkaments before the summer ends (no higher than ~$25 buyin). I hope to grind while looking at my PT. i will be 4tabling and making vids at the same time and make sure to eval my play afterwards- and if I'm running good I'm not booking the win but I will be playing longer. I will just make sure I'm wide awake and satisfy my body's needs (if I need a stretch break, food, bathroom, etc). Postponing these things could be costly. I will definitely try to be more aggressive but I think at these micro stakes playing very straightforward isn't hard, and flatcalling a flop raise after cbetting and c/rai on the turn is very ez since at these stakes theres almost zero pot control by opponents :) :). I will also work on committing myself more with draws and such because i think that was a definite leak at my low msnl and high ssnl levels... where I c/r the flop and then i c/c the turn with a big draw or c/rai with no FE, where as I should be bet/calling the turn for about 3/4 pot committing myself, especially taking advantage of a scare card to get someone to fold the best hand and such. Once I work on these things I think I can be a winning player again and I will MAKE SURE TO REMAIN RESPONSIBLE WITH ROLL MANAGEMENT- THIS WILL BE LIKE MY ONLY MONEY I WILL BE ABLE TO USE IN COLLEGE!! Cannot go BUUUSTO!! Which is y i'll start at $25nl instead of $50nl, as well as evaling my game, setting up/studying PT and Hypercam and such. Looking forward to getting back into town and getting my $$$. I will hopefully at least get it in a few days if not tonite; MAYBE I can play tonite!!?!?!? that'd be sick... pce and wish me luck

1/3 Through This Boring Ass Trip

not exactly sure the day I got here, but I think I've been here for about a week? I'm not positive tho... neway bored and slightly tired with having to see grandparents every day while making dull small talk- however I'm staying at a hotel now (La Quinta) which now has quick interent and wi-fi if i wanna get on my psp for privacy reasons, and I'm just very pleased with their accomadations technologically. rite now I'm actually watching a CR vid of SBRugby who's on a losing streak but i wish him luck in regaining his composure because I believe when he's ON, he's the best NLHE player in the world, and definitely a great PLO player as well. Went to Yosemite earlier in my trip after staying at the Comfort Suites in San leandro (which had no internet and I couldn't keep in touch w/ things at home and was very homesick and upset). I'm no now much happier, but neway, Yosemite was nice but missed the modern amenities. Tomorrow San Francisco, then half moon bay, then I think I leave for Oregon, which for 3 days will be at the beach, then the other like 5 days I will have to stay in my Grandpa's assisted living apartment, which is quite nice but no internet to keep in touch w/ the modern world :-(. dying to get back home- def looking for girls but obv can't do that here...maybe at the beach tho...? But yea that and sleeping in my own bed, playin bball with all my friends at the court at home, and bein on my own comp (will prob install Vista). Everything about home sounds appealing rite now, but I just gotta try my best to glide through this BS trip. Not looking forward to starting school! FOOOK... i wanna find a fucking live game already- looking forward to having $1k my friend owes me shipped on FTP for some cheap donkaments and cash games for some fun; trying to get a decent score maybe get bak into the high SSNL or small MSNL games to jus grind while living out the fun of college life which I'm looking forward to... wish me luck
