How can I run so fucking bad? Y did I ever even take a shot with $120? Jesus Titty Fucking Christ... Once I get my Rakeback, I will ship it back to my friend, and I'm done with online poker. No lie.. I am just not responsible enough I can't handle the ridic fucking retarded swings. I will post some hands as much as I FUCKING HATE IT- up $600 earlier? O, now stuck $1700? Fucking Wonderful!!!

To be honest, how can I keep doing this to msyelf? How come I keep taking shots out of my roll? Have I lost my fucking head? How come I keep going after I get up high? Yes, he spews like hell, but he hits hands like a fucking shithead too. Jesus... this is the ONLY SESSION HE'S GOTTEN THE BEST OF ME OUT OF LIKE THE 6 WE'VE PLAYED... I'm probably even all time over him. Ok, not playing online poker again. I will kick my addiction and wait until I'm fucking more mature to handle the retarded bullshit, and NEVER TAKE ANOTHER FUCKING SHOT AGAIN NO MATTER WUT. EVER. I have enough money for high skool, so wtf am I doing trying this bullshit? I'll invest that $6k from before, live my life, and be happy. Focus on fucking skool and maybe lifting- Christ this fucks up the fucking emotions....End of fucking blog

Thanx for watching me struggle and grind for 99% of the time only to run bad and play over my head like a shithead for 2 hours out of maybe the 80 i've played? Yea, I'm a real fucking dumbfuck alrite. I CAN ONLY BLAME MYSELF. THIS IS SO FUCKING TOUGH TO ADMIT TO BUT IT IS TRUE- MY OWN IRRESPONISIBLITY AND NOT KNOWING WHAT A TRUE DOLLAR IS WORTH HAS COMPLETELY FUCKING BEEN MY OWN DOWNFALL. What does this trace too? Hubris: excessive pride. Why? Because I played two fucking shitheads heads up, losing my $3300 roll, and now my $2400 roll. I just don't know what to say. WTF am I thinking? I should be happy I can look back and have won that $6k in Feb because thats the only thing I've gotten good out of online poker. Honestly, I'm just so happy that I decided to not even think of being a professional poker player. Ugh, Lord, I don't know what to say. For a long time I wil hate myself for being such a fucking idiot. I learned SO MANY TIMES FROM BEFORE TO HAVE GOOD ROLL MANAGEMENT. AND WHAT DO I FUCKING DO? RISK TOO MUCH FOR TOO LITTLE OF A GAIN. REGARDLESS, I HAD AN EDGE VS THE FUCKING IDIOTS, VARIANCE OF COURSE RAPES MY ASSHOLE AGAIN. I'm going to do some studying then go to fucking bed and forget about online poker altogether. It is a waste of time and I will just enjoy not having too many responsibilities at this point. IF I EVEN THINK OF PLAYING WITH THAT $1600 IN 15 DAYS, I will never go over my head again. I'm serious... I just can't...However, I don't think I will. I just can't really incorporate poker into a balanced life- I'm too fucking high strung. If I have a good day, I feel a little better than if I had not played, but if I have a shit day, I rele feel like complete shit. Losses feel a fuckload shittier than wins feel good. Yea so, hopefully I'll... never play online poker again? Not at least for another year and a half or so? If I have that kind of discipline, I'll be one hapy motherfucker. I'll try to spend my points soon, if I do end up xferring back that $1600 to my friend when I get it.

Good End to the Night

Roll- $2400
Status for day- $+600 (3 BI at $1/$2 nl)
Won $30 today at plo, 570 at nlhe playing 921 hands winning 16BB/100 playing 24/19/3.75.
I think I wuz rele on my game today and motivated, and I love playing 4 or 5 tables at once. From now on, I won't have it any other way. I play my best, don't get burned out, and have probably the best winrate in that situation. I duno y I wuz tempted to play 9 tables; it wuz probably becuz I wuz only playing hands when I raise and almost never calling preflop, and since the game is so aggro, one can probably only open 1/7 hands? Yea so, neway, I love playing this many tables where poker know-how rele kicks in and good reads can be made. Hands:

It's fun to have a laggy image :) I love how I played this hand...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1136797

OK well, I don't like this guy's c/c on flop and turn, then donking river sorta weakish with this monster hand... but I definitely coolered him jeez the money is going in regardless neway!
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1136800

I felt I wuz committed postflop in the hand, and felt it wuz more likely air or Ax rather than JT, and defeinitely didn't expect set. Haha I lucksack turn turn- http://www.pokerhand.org/?1136802

Hopefully will grind out a nice roll; I'll xfer back to my friend when I get to a total of maybe $7k (7k-1600 becuz I will get that rakeback), so $5400 total. This is a certainly attainable goal, and then when I get that, I'll be grindin the $1/$2 nl 4tabling or 5tabling for a while, with maybe some PLO thrown in...To be honest I'm probably a bit better at PLO than NLHE and have a better understanding of equity advantages; it's so much easier to play PLO than NLHE becuz it's a lot harder to bluff in PLO and you're drawing mainly for the nuts, but in NLHE, top pair could be good for a big pot, and 2nd nut flush couldn't. To be honest, I'd say NLHE is a more complex game, despite PLO having twice as many cards! NLHE is so much more pyschological and about reads, but PLO is about the cards mainly: knowing ur equity in pots mainly and taking advantage of those small edges. Yes, that is a definite part of NLHE, but I'd say the PLO game is much more aggro than the NLHE game, and in raised pots in PLO if people play a pot, at least 60% of the time it's for stacks. Neway, wish me luck this week in NLHE while I try to focus on my studies; skool gets out june 15 ship it! (haha same day i get myrakeback!)

Sorta Boring but Fun Day

Won $71 in NHLE playing $1/$2 after a friend loaned me $1700- played 4 tables (more fun than just grinding 9 to be honest). Won $44 in hu PLO vs a donk that ran fairly well vs me. Played ONE hand bad all day so I'm happy (where I overthought and rele coulda sworn the guy had a set...) and sorta got coolered out of the other hands I lost.

I like this play...I thought about c/rai on flop, but I didn't want anyone to check behind. With these stacks and the $ in the pot, I just made a big bet on flop with overs+OESD. On the blank turn, I assumed he had Jx, Tx, or draw. I assumed my KQ high wuz good vs other draws, and with the $ in the pot I decided I'd just go with the hand and shove vs his stack size. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1136381

I don't like his c/r on turn... If I were him I woulda c/r on flop. His flatcall on flop and c/min ray on turn wuz a little scary; I assumed it wuz RELE weak or better T or full house. So it wuz WA/WB situation. NEVER woulda put him on the hand he had. river wuz J, I thought I wuzn't getting value shoving here and getting called by worse, so I just called. Turns out he just rivered a pretty decent hand, and I guess i coulda gotten value. People took rele weird lines vs me today...? http://www.pokerhand.org/?1136385

Had seen him playing tight preflop, and ruled out QT from his range since I assume he would check behind flop with that. So that wuz not an option; assumed he would bet flop and check behind turn even with hand like 78s. Therefore, I put him exactly on 666 or 999 ( I know, retarded). I decided I would just call down just becuz I couldn't him on a worse hand the way he wuz playing (I assumed KQ vs and UTG raise or KT wuz out of his range...) Turns out he had AK- VERY shocked he didn't reraise preflop with this. Neway, I overanalyzed like a retard and coulda shoved... this wuz the only hand I played bad. BTW, I only called here becuz it wuz a mulitway pot and we all had decent stacks... i rarely do this but I can't play RELE rockish I can call here becuz of implied odds becuz I know I can get away from a single top pair hand and such. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1136406

It's fun when an idiot hits runnres to counterfeit my two pair. I wuz almost sure I would get the $ in on the flop and he wousl shove, but he just called. Worse turn card ever came, and I didn't want to turn my hand into a bluff (WA/WB vs overpair becuz he either had diamond or he didn't). Didn't want to bluff river, so I checked it... I shoulda bluffed tho... he checked behind turn so quick I wuz afraid he ha da flush tho so yea very gay the diamond slowed the action on the turn and that he ended up suckin out on riv... http://www.pokerhand.org/?1136397

I'm done- ran great

Yea so, busted out of MTT when I wuz RELE low (16BB at the 50/100 level), and button opened to 300. I called with 1600 in chips to start the hand. I decided before I called I wuz going to stop n go. Thats wut I did on the J78 flop, of course he called with KK. I love how the 9d comes on the turn to give me the OESD and flush draw for false hope, then I blank the river. Then, I just lost an SNG when the blinds were high, 3 handed (6max $50+5 1 table sng), donk blind raised, I shoved AJo from the BB, he calls with AA. Great... then shorstacking for my last $225 becuz I wuz getting RELE impatient from running bad... button opened to 35, I shoved in $225 total, he called with AQ. Flop J33, turn 6, river A. YAY, another coinflip lost!!!! :) I'm tired of online poker it's so fckin frustrating. Tho I would like to make $ from it, it's somewut boring and it's more of a habit becuz Im an addict rather than fun. I think what Imma do is GRIND the $1600 (starting at .50/1 and dropping down if I even lose 1 BI) OR just cash it out for $1088 and find something cool to spend that on. The good thing is I'll have enough money to buy things like entertainment for the next year or so, then when I'm in mid 20's ill take that $6k out of the stock market I would put in and expect to get like $14k total or so... So yea, no need for money... I don't no y I play poker it stresses me out. My motivation...? To have fun and to win, though I have no real goal, which is probably the main thing holding me back. I just don't have enough motivation, no matter what, to grind and wait to move up through the limits. I should probably wait until I'm out of college before I play again... tho if I do get that $1600, theres' a 60% chance I'll keep it online- ONCE IN A WHILE take a shot at a small cash game for the hell of it or play a $24+2 (NO BIGGER THIS HAS TO LAST ME FOR A WHILE!) Donkament to try to get a good score. So yea, thats my epiphony. Good thing- I made $1600 this month from RB. Bad thing... I had $5700 in my account like a week and a half ago but just has been an unreal rocky ride from then and I just can't grasp the concept of the $ that I am losing... I have no real concept for money online because I can't see it, and I'm just in disbelief that I have it until I see it at $0. FUUUCK. PT Stats for month:

59,800 hands total (ALL holdem not just nlhe)... winning $1700

NLHE Stats:
46,500 hands playing 29/25/3.5 winning $3,055 at 4BB/100. Yea, so anyway, since I won $1700 total according to my PT, and paid that back $2700 loan to my friend earlier this month, I won $1k in PLO. I lost... $1300 in LHE (damn)... :-( I can't believe my discipline and roll management sux so hard. Poker has made me be sort of careless and has put things out of perspective... If all possible I would like to quit and focus on school...so happy I paid back those loans tho but damn if I had good roll management I woulda made SOO Much fckin money!! I'm outta control seriously... if I'm stuck I chase losses/move up. WTF is wrong with me? How many times have I had this convo with myself? I should wait till longer and I'm more responsible to play online poker seriously. I just don't want it to be wasted $ I could be making because I'm not playing and my skill is sharpest now. Ok. Over this blog post I have decided on something: I will play cash games regularly when I get my rakeback, but ONLY for a short amount of time (1k hands/day max playing 4-9 tables depending on how I feel), I will play my normal solid LAG game, and I will make sure that I have ALWAYS AT LEAST 30 BI! Yes, tough... meaning I need to have $3k before I start .50/1 nlhe, etc. I will NEVER chase losses... if I take a bad beat if I feel vengeful I'll stop. My motivation- a challnege to myself to see if I can have good life balance and make some money while playing very intelligently and not fucking around. If I break even for month, Ill still make like $750 in rakeback so yea.. Max loss in a session= -3BI. I cannot come back to poker for the rest of that day! If I lose two days in a row, I will look through PT for big hands and reeval game, while moving down a limit! So yea, -6BI in two days= move down a limit. I'm ready... I've realized 20 BI is just not enough to play with to be honest, and that it still allows me to go on tilt and affects my roll enough to pyschologically effect me into trying to get unstuck and play somewut bad. Also, NEVER TAKE A SHOT EVER! NEVER. BTW, 30 BI rule will apply for PLO... I'm definitley getting better at it tho so I will keep playing it becuz I've plugged the leaks in my game and playing well. Wish me luck for next month updates to follow. Good luck for next month this is a much needed reflecting/discipline break! I'M SO FUCKING STUPID...

Yes, it's fun to fold top two on a drawy board. I'm SOO happy the hands were shown cuz I wouldnta been able to go to sleep at nite unless I wuz sure that guy had a set haha. Well, this fold will hopefully give me the confidence to rape this tourney. Luckily, I have 68BB or so, so thats PLENTY to work with, and luckily these are early stages. I know BetBetBet is a very solid player, so after he flatcalled flop I figured him for a pretty decent draw (KTdd, ATdd, etc). Then after I c/r the flop big, and the other guy smoothcalled, then BetBetBet came over the top, I knew i wuz a goner. Shocked at me folding that since in a cash game I've never made that kind of foold ever :) Wish me luck for later in the tourney!!

UNREAL Stupid Judgement Yesterday and Decision

So yea, I try to look at the positive things. Neway, I sat at a 5/10 hu with a complete donk yesterday and bought in $200 with a $3300 roll. I won $600 off him quickly, and was at an $800 stack. Then, his a3dd rivered my j6s on the flop of J36 two diamonds and he rivered a diamond. Neway, I tilted, rebought $1k cuz he wuz so stupid, and just lost $ after missing and crap postflop. Got down to $1k, lost shortstacking some $2/$4 nl and soforth, and ended up at $600 (!) Neway, I'm in a 150+13 today and in a $24+2 now... hopefuly I can get a good score here. The good thing is that I will get my $1500 or so of RB in Mid June. This is good because I've decided I won't play cash games unless it's a weekend, and wont play very much in general. I will once in a while play a donkament, and I'll try to stick to those to improve my game, maybe an SNG here or there. To be honest, I don't have the patience for cash game roll management. I HATE grinding to be perfectly honest, and it's just not fun anymore. I used to think tourneys were very boring. However, tho they have TONS more variance, I'm rele motivated to be competing for something rather than just waiting to flop big hands to play big pots. I'll play thes for a while and maybe get a decent score so I can play at least $1/$2nl cash games where the stakes will motivate m.e I stil have $300 after the two tourney entries, so wish me luck. Neway, the good thing about this month: I won ~$1800 or $1900 in rakeback and my roll now and paid off my loans, so this is all profit. I'm like on a freeroll (which is actually the wrong mentality and the reason I took the shot at 5/10 vs the idiot lucksack). I'm a little too upset to post hands, and I will post stats at end of month. Wish me luck in these donkaments!

Wish me luck- I think I'll be playing some limit to be perfectly honest. I wuz watching a few limit videos, and I'm understanding it a LOT now and I'm getting better. Roll is at $3k now, so yea, tripling my roll from 2 days ago is still a great accomplishment, so I should embellish on that. Grrr for now tho and my -$300 tonite (still $+250 for today, but pissed about that retarded 5 outer hit on me in the MTT for that monster pot early on that woulda had me in good position to maneuver around and go deep, while just abusing others early on to rele accumulate a mound of chips.

WTF @ How I Fucking Run in MTTs

Jesus Christ, I swear... y in the fuck do I run so fucking bad in these stupid fucking things? Yea, so neway, some fuckin idiot and I were 70BB deep in our MTT (VERY deep at these early 30/60 stages with ~4200 in chips each). This is the HH; I did not realize how small my reraise was preflop to be honest... otherwise I woulda made it bigger. Anyway, he called (like the idiot he is), c/rai when he wuz getting called by nothing he beats, and hit his lovely 5 outer on me all the turn for a MONSTER pot when all the money went in. I think that if I won that 10k chip pot, I woulda been at least in the top 10 chip position, and had...166BB (WOW in an MTT) and I woulda just fuckin destroyed later on with that chipstack. Yea, one day...I rele wuz fucking motivated to play. That retarded bullshit made me unregister for the $109 30k gtd which I wuz rele looking forward to tonite. I cannot believe I am so pissed over a $24 buyin tournament. It just is so frustrating to RELE care about something and know you're betting there most others playing in the field (I mean come on very few good players play in the $24+2 26k gtd tourney), and you can never make it deep because you run like fucking ass. At least I've been running good the past few days and made one hell of a comeback from the $1k I wuz at on friday. So yea, that's good. Maybe a friend of mine will stake me in some big tournies like the 109, 150+13, or the 400k gtd for $200+15 soon. I can't wait until I get another opportunity at a decent donkament where I REALLY feel like playing, because I know if I run well, holy sht I'll go far. It's fairly sick cuz I wuz runnin pretty good in the 24+2 (had KK once already and doubled up, and doubled up again with AA vs AK vs AJ after AK minraised and flatcalled a reraise preflop from UTG, then open potted Kxxdd flop...) Yea, so after doubling up twice early on with good cards, then getting bullshitted, it wuz just more gay false hope that can be added to my great feat of failures in the world of MTTs and online poker in general... lol wtf@ my attitude... not exactly sure y it's getting to me so much... wish me luck tomorrow I'll probably play a one hour session or so from like 10:30-11:30, then after lunch around noon I'll hopefully set up excercise equipment and do some long-needed lifting, followed by a load of work I've been procrastinating with on this long and much-needed holiday break. Updates to come tomorrow.

Good end to the Day (real)

Sry, last post wuz an accidental post. Anyway, Starting roll was $2750 going in tonight, played a 1 hour session, now at $3300 ($+550). Won $130 in NLHE and $420 in PLO. NLHE PT Stats: 23/20/5 winning $130 @10BB/100. I ran pretty well in PLO and called a fair amount of reraises because I knew it's equity against AAxx, and happened to win the coinflip to hit my hand. Anyway, One VERY Interesting PLO hand I played that I will post, and some NLHE hands.

Hands:

Cooler for him; i NEVER woulda guessed he had as strong of a hand as he did, especially not to play it that strong postflop. I had been 3betting him in blind wars a LOT, so I flatcalled his preflop reraise becuz my hand wuz overwhelmingly strong. HE openshoved flop, and he had KK vs my AA, and spiked his K on turn :-( grr. No big deal...

I love my call here- he snapshoved turn so I put him on AJhh or AQhh? He had total air, and I scooped. My hand looked exactly like a squeeze. If I was him, I woulda definitely 4bet preflop. At these stakes tho normally people dont recognize that. :-) His flop float wuz ok, but I hit my card and his timing and bet amount just seemed like air to me.

I like flatcalling here preflop becuz my AAxx doesn't have suits in PLO, which lowers the equity enough to make it just better to call preflop. Neway, After I got reraised from the blinds, and the UTG opener flatcalled, I decided it was time to stick it to the reraiser (and I thought he had AA). Turns out he flatcalled my 4bet preflop when the other guy folded, he checked, i shoved a small but fairly drawy flop, he called with one of the best hands I coulda seen (KKxx, where he had no backdoor draws and he only had 4 outs- 2 two's or 2 k's- I held and won a big pot taking a shot at the $1/$2 PLO game :)

Good end to the Day

Starting Roll- $2750

Pretty Good Start to the Morning

So, started with my $2550 roll. Played some $2/$4 plo shorstacking vs idiots (yea I know, underrolled....), as well as some .50/1 6max plo and some 6 max .50/1 nl (no good hu games going and didn't fel like it becuz it can get a bit boring). Neway, maybe won $50 at the .50/1 6max games in like... 150 hands and won $300 at PLO. I'm getting much better at PLO and not playing so ridic loose, as well as minimizing variance by not trying to play preflop and postflop, but also see the cards on later streets to determine the best play before I stick all my money in. Id say people who constantly try to get the $ in on the flop don't full understand PLO and the variance that ensues, and it's all about maximizing your equity advantage at the right time. No hh becuz most hands were in PLO, so sry, I'll make sure to play a bit later and try to get in some interesting 6max .50/1 nlhe hands, however, I will make sure to keep it up at plo. I think a lot of my variance wuz due to being RELE loose, especially OOP in omaha, and making pretty bad flop plays and gambooling it up a bit too much. Yea, I didn't run very well and never came behind from being a 3:2 underdog, but still, I'm better than to get my money in early with those odds. On a side note, Deja Vu starring Denzel Washington is a great movie. Bit sci-fi, but lots of action and intrigue. It is a very strange thought that is not so far-fetched, and there is some truth to the possibilities of manipulating time and possibly affected the past. It was presented in a fairly realistic manner for this day and age, and great acting. More updates to come when I play more sessions...

RUNNING GREAT to start, then turned sorta Sour

Ok, so today I won $1100 at my good friend's house in about an hour session playing 1/2 plo, .50/1 nlhe hu, and $.50/1 6max and hu plo. Played well, ran great... :) Came back home, played .50/1 hu nl and .50/1 plo, and lost $500 lol. So I won a total of $600 today, so I'm definintely happy anyway of the day. I didn't even play that many hands- variance just evened out throughout the day I wish I didn't play but it's hard not to play when you're motivated to and running well! So yea, I have like no hh to post becuz I wuz at my friends' house and almost all my losses at home were in plo or jus tryin to bluff scare cards in hu and gettin called down by idiots. I have no PT stats either, so not the most detailed post. However, +5BI day is more than acceptable, and I'll hit the .50/1 nl hu game tomorrow in the morning once again, and maybe a donkament tonite. Goin out to rent a movie now, so I'll update after my morning session tomorrow, or if I go deep in my MTT tonite.

A Good Way to End the Variance-Riddin Night

Ok, so VERY VERY Interesting night tonite! One guy ran like G-d against me in particular, while vs another I flopped top pair after I reraised preflop and he flatcalled, and I dodged one of his... (3+3+9+4=19 outs on riv!). So I won a 62/38, yet I lost a LOT of hands where I wuz a favorite. However, I'm very happy with my performance. I played $.50/1 nl hu tonite and some $1/$2 nl tables vs people that I thought I played before and were kinda donkish with half a buy in and worked it up. In NLHE tonite (HU) I won $450, so I must have lost $50 at PLO tonite, but I still won $600 total in PLO. I cannot believe earlier today I almost swore I wouldn't play again becuz I wuz just too depressed and unmotivated, but now I'm feeling great and playin my best game and runnin pretty well (except for a few key hands hu). The key aspect to this session wuz that I changed my play HU vs this complete donk, and ended up gettin some $ from him. Luckily after the guy who ran unreal well against me after playing terribly, after hit-n-running me, I wuz kinda pissed so I went to a $1/$2 nl table and I dodged 19 outs in a reraised pot to scoop $600 pot total. I HATE to hit n run, but I wuz just too underroled to play him, though I woulda happily played him for a long time since I'm sure he wuz PISSED.
Hands: I hate to say it, but pokerhand is officially down or moving servers or something? I hope I didn't lose my other crazy interesting hands, but they're still in my PT Database :) Just a pain in the ass to find.
*FYI; it looks like my PT matches my bankroll, so I guess I'm even for PLO this month. I will make sure to take some more shots at it next month, but I will be ready for variance. Ready to get back on track for $.50/$1 hu nl regular and grinding hopefully up to the $1/$2 nl hu game soon enough and be a regular there for a long time.

No commentary, but I will say that on all these hands I had such particular reads (heads up I RELE can focus on tendencies from my opponents) and I played the hands optimally; got my money in very good almost 100% of the time except when I get unreal coolered (Nut flush to full house... wow for some reason I can't find that hh)

Yea, so I played my opponents very well. The hand directly above with the 67 to my 33 when I had set and flush redraw to his turned open ended...? yea... that wuz a terrible play by him. I told u he ran unreal good vs me!!!!! Can't WAIT to play him next time tho and just bust his ass up; if I won every hand I wuz a substantial fav in I would have at least $600 more (the river flush he hit with k2ss vs my 99 where I check/instapushed to his big bet), as well as $200 more from the backdoor straight to set with flush redraw where he hit his miracle straight, and then that Q9 to AQ wuz just an unreal cooler, but I just CANT fold there... whot he fuck flatcalls preflop with AQ? He didn't 3bet AQ preflop, JJ, AK, wtf??? of course he hit all those hands on me- wut a fucker. I ran well vs everyone else tho and I doubled my roll today, so I can't bitch. Ready for the grinding challenge of tomorrow!

I lied...sorta

Jeez, I can't believe I deleted the rele long blog post I just had lol, but it wuz ranting and boring.
I'll get down to the main points:
1. Not quitting poker, merely going to play less hands no matter what (even if uberstuck or game great) just to avoid geting burnt out and getting better life balance.
2. Will soon take a shot with my new $1650 roll at $.50/$1 hu NLHE tomorrow from probably 10-12 (12 being lunch), then head out to hang out with some friends.
3. won 6.5 BI tonite at plo playing 7 tables of $.50/1 HU PLO and playing/running well as well
4. I am taking a shot tomorrow because I'm motivated again for $.50/$1 NL HU (at least for now) becuz I had the best winrate their. After my good hour and a half session tonite of $.50/$1 PLO, I realize I cannot let variance get to me. I increased my roll by 65% tonite, and now I know NEVER to lose hope and NEVER move up when stuck or take shots. If I am even a TWEAK off my game, it will cost me LOTS of money. If I HAD good bankroll management, holy shit, I would have probably a 20k roll online and the 6k in cash, as opposed to a $1650 roll online and 6k in cash. No joke; lost 1/2 of my profits from runnin RELE hot in Feb as well as losing $3k or $2k here and there after taking a loan and then paying it back and losing the profits from RELE bad tilt and roll management.
5. New schedule and rules I MUST stick to in order to maintain a positive mindset that will increase my winrate and balance my life. I didn't realize it, but poker can be SO overwhelming in life that if one doesn't have a set schedule, it can make life rele boring and a lazy grind. It will make me unmotivated for working towards a good education and other goals I may have (like lifting/sports and getting in better shape)
*On a side note, busted out of my $22k $75 buyin losing 99 to T8o all in preflop when he spiked T on the river, but doing well int he $19k gtd with 4k stack at the 50/100 level (121/379 position), so wish me luck. ~$4700 payday, as well as some more good MTT experience and maybe some motivation to play a few donkaments here and there when I have free time and I'm in the mood becuz their payouts these days r GREAT.

I'm in a COMPLETELY diff mindset than earlier today, and feel a lot better and more hopeful (fuckin concerta and its side effect of depression!). Ready to take on life again, with my 4 challenges/goals of success in school, balance in social life and poker, lifting, and of course poker (no particular order tho it's probably a tie for first for the first 3 and poker 2nd at this point).

Important Decision

Concerta- fuck that shit. Started taking since Monday and almost completely ineffective @ 18mg. Today, took two 18mg tablets as directed, and it BARELY helped, as well as me feeling the worst I've ever felt. Slight stomach ache/hunger (very strange contradicting feelings) the whole day as well as unreal depression I've never felt in my whole life. I will stop taking this shit immediately; maybe get a prescription for Addherall XR for ONCE IN A WHILE becuz I wuzn't depressed when I took that and it actually WORKED. I'll take it once in a while for important tests or having to do important projects or shit. Yea, causes ridic insomnia but I'll live with that once in a while to avoid all the fuckin gay side effects of Concerta.
Sorry, back to poker. Neway, My roll is now $1k. I have lost motivation to play for a while and don't want to spew money. I will wait till play until mid June (When I get my rakeback) to decide what my plans are. I mite cash out all my money and not play poker again until later and I have motivation to succeed. At this point, I don't rele have anything to spend money on because I have enough to last me for a long time for movies, food, etc, and I don't have anything I really want to buy (on poker I'm opposite of nit, but in real life I hate spending large sums of money unless I RELE wunt something which is a rare occasion). So yea, I will start this challenge up in Mid June. MAYBE A DONKAMENT once in a while on weekends to pass the time if I'm motivated, though I will try to just make it lik ea whole month w/o it. I hope I don't feel slight withdrawl, since poker has had a mental hold on me. I will go through my total summary of poker this month with my Pokertracker. I'm probably not mature enough to handle the ridic swings and time constraints poker can put on me, so I mite have to wait longer than Mid June. If I still don't want to play then, I'll cash out all money and invest it or other productive ways to get me maybe a small income without the ridic instability or lack of social contact that poker ensues.

Holdem PT Stats (overall)
46k hands; 30/25/3; winning $4100 @ 3.81BB/100
Biggest winners- AA and KK ($4415 net @6BB/100 and 3388 @ 5.75/100) Nice to see I'm playing my big pairs well and they're holding. Pretty much All top hands are my biggest winners showing I know how to play them well; AKs has had some bad luck tho and I'm down $800 tho (that wuz one hand from 2/4 when I wuz stuck and took a shot and got coolered to KK preflop HU this guy ran unreal; otherwise I would be even from it).

Biggest losers- 97o (yea I can't believe it either)- from one pot when I took a shot at 2/4 and I thought I played a hand somewut well though I sensed weakness and should have c/r turn!!
He ended up hitting the river one outer on me; what I mean is that this is the ONLY CARD IN THE WORLD HE WOULD HAVE CALLED A SHOVE WITH. Yea, sick. Wow wtf, I don't feel like posting the hh becuz pokerhand.org is not working so I don't no another site. That RELE pisses me off...

NLHE PT Stats: 43.5k hands @ 29/24/3.5 winning $5300 at 4.4BB/100

Limit PT Stats- down $1050 @ -2BB/100 playing 54/44/2 in 3k hands (limit has this kind of variance especially since it wuz HE LHE which is ridic variance even worse than NLHE)

HU NL PT Stats- 13.5k hands winning $3350 @ 8bb/100 playing 36/32/3.

OVERALL SUMMARY: HU is my best game, and if I do come back into poker, I will ONLY play when very motivated I will specialize in hu with occasional 4table of 6max (9 tabling is boring) to mix it up. No more PLO jus becuz it's too swingy and I don't completely understand the game and when hands have edges with FE and all that complicated crap. I have hard enough managing 2 cards, let alone 4 lool. GG for now poker... Updates later on my withdrawl from poker as Mid June approaches, and any good rants that come up. The good thing about this month of playing: I had fun, learned some things about myself and when I play optimal poker and when I play terrible (taking shots when stuck, late nite gambling feeling, etc). At least I made $1k online and soon to be ~$1400 in rakeback playing $.50/1 nl and some $1/$2nl, as well as paying back my $1400 loan from before and this $1300 loan. Soon enough I'll pick up my $3700 from my friend in cash, deposit in bank to be ready to invest, and get ready to focus more on school and havin fun in life. Poker rele sux a lot of that motivation of other things out of u its completely vexxing.

Level stats of NLHE (jus out of curiosity) for 6max
$.40/$.80 deep: - $475.5 at -6.5bb/100 in 4500 hands playing 33/27/3. I would be up like at LEAST $300 but I had a huge day of bad luck and tilt vs a normally overaggro spewy donk.

$.50/$1 nlhe: 10k hands, playign 23/20/3.5 losing $700 at 3.43BB/100 (becuz of recent bad variance)

$1/$2 nlhe: 8500 hands playing 23/19/4 winning $2900 @8.54BB/100

$2/$4 nlhe: 878 losing $1200 @ -17BB/100 (WOW bad run in like 1 or two sessions) playing 21/17/3

Hope you guys have enjoyed my blog so far as I have enjoyed writing it and reflecting on the accomplishments and struggles of low-mid stakes of Online poker for an average student and the effect on everyday life.

PLZ LEMME WIN A HAND FOR ONCE IN MY FUCKING LIFE

Great; shortstackinge session that took 15 mins at 2/4 nl I lost $700. I'd love to show some of the wonderful hands.

Losing flips http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130385

Losing very important flips http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130386

The ultimate ending to my shorstacking session...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130388

Knew I shouldn't have paid this fuckin bs off... http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130403

My lucky streak continues...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130404

Just to verify my luck in life as well as poker=bad http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130408

*All of these happend between 8:35 and 8:55. Yes, 20 mins=7 shortstack buyins lost. I love myself
I will now play donkaments for a little bit I cannot STAND to even THINK about fckin cash games. I am lookin forward to getting my rakeback maybe and returning to $.50/1. I just can't believe WTF is happening. I fcking hate poker, but I care so much about it. The problem is that I cannot stand all the ridiculous BS that happens, and I'm just so impatient when I play well and everything goes to shit to a fucking idiot. I feel if I don't play poker, its a huge waste becuz of all the time, energy, and mental power put into it. Jesus fucking Christ I hate this fucking game

I'M SO SICK OF THIS MOTHERFUCKING BULLSHIT VARIANCE

OK, play a .50/1 session with $2500 this afternoon. Start at 2:30, end at 7. WTF, i START RUNING FUCKING BAD LIKE... RITE WHEN IM ABOUT TO QUIT! I had $2500 (even), and I wuz happy, then I went on an unreal bullshit cooler/bad beat/colddeck downswing. Yea, so 15 mins into my session literally, I lose like $900 rite off the bad (at $1600). I'm SOOO fucking pissed I'm about to quit at this unreal luck, but then I decide to keep pushing, start picki up some hands and runing normal, and grind for the next ~hour back to $2500!!! NOo WAYY, yes I know sick to swing A total of 18 fucking BI in one session. This is unreal; then I'm at about the same amount of $ for a LONG time ($2450 or so), and then start gettin colddecked the last hour. Ran SOOO bad it wuz unbelievalbe. Today, I broke even in PLO and lost $750 in nlhe. I can't believe this unreal bullshit. If I could HONESTLY RUN GOOD, for A FUCKING WEEK, I would make it all the way to $1/2 nl with a good roll. WTF is this shit; I thought 9 tabling wuz supposed to cut down on ur variance? O wait, IT DOES, EVERYONE JUST FLOPS SETS ON ME.

Hands: (*I lost many more hands than what I'm showing, but I will show interesting ones)
One of the hands that GOT ME SO PISSED When I had about $2450; one of the reasons I kept playing to play pots with this shithead. I hope he dies a violent death. I love when he raises and calls a reraise OOP with QTo, then he c/c BOTH streets with gutshot, then Q high flush draw, and he HITS BOTH ON THE FCKIN RIVER. Problem is that once he bet $32 on the river, even with 4flush out there, he wuz SOOO STUPID that I figured I wuz getting the correct odds to call. Yea...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130068

Yea; I try not to be results oriented, so I know its always better to call this turn. I cannot believe this shit tho. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130076

Gettin coolered badly deep; I wish I 4bombed the flop since he probably woulda flatcalled, then I coulda put a lot of pressure on him ont he turn. I wuz a little worried he had a set tho; I made SUCH stupid bet becuz this guy wuz SO solid I wuzn't getting called by anything I beat (with that riv). FCKIN SHIT!!!!! Let the heart miss once plz!!! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130077

Another ridiculous hand from the complete shithead. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130089

Another fun cooler...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130093

Another fun cooler...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130099

I could NEVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE PUT HIM ON 55. He tanked and called; I'm SOO pissed. His riv bet made me think he had AA or KK, maybe QQ, in which case I thought I could bluff him on riv...? though committed? yea... sorta brainfart http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130101

That I wuz valuebetting turn and valueshoving riv... lovely how these guys always hit fuckin monster hands on me when we're deep. Yea, love this shit. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130105

I did make a dumb spewy riv bluff, losing me $25, but how the fck can this guy even think of calling down 77? Yea, terrible again but I miss postflop nearly every time so I can't win otherwise. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130109

This guy played his hand so bad by flatcalling preflop OOP, donkpotting the flop tptk, then shoving to a raise where he beat NOTHING but a straight draw?! Yea, BAD. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130117

I though I played this great by flatcalling to let a draw make a play. However, I coolered a guy with a set, who c/r this flop, and a flush draw that overcalled. I wuz PISSED when the river wuz a diamond cuz I wuz starting to come out of my bad luck early on, then I saw it paired board :)
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130119

I'm SO pissed I didn't get to stack this donk craphead... he played the strangest and most retarded ever- had GREAT reads on him allowing me to valuebet the living hell out of him. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130126

Got lucky one hand http://www.pokerhand.org/?1130129

LOL @ his hand and how he called down... wow; SO MANY BAD PLAYERS ON TODAY, BUT SO MANY BAD FUCKIN BEATS! My good hands held twice in big pots (or like 3 times), and somehow got sucked out on in like 10. Yea, WTF.

played 3k(!) hands today, 25/20/3 at -13BB/100 losing $725. Very pissed about today; I ran TERRIBLE, made a great comebakc, wuz up to like $2700 actually at one point, then ran TERRIBLE again. One day I will run well for like a whole week and I will seriously be unstoppable. Peopel hvae started thinking im a bot LMAO. I'm a complete tank and will grind 9tables at once for hours at a time. My luck goes down over time until theres zero, so I'll play shorter sessions as well as making poker not such a ridic grind; I also have schoolwork to do (FUCK how can I focus now!)?

The Night Game Contemplation and Conclusion Drawn

Ok, after extensive thought and impatience, I have finally come to a conclusion about the $.50/1 and $1/$2nl game on Full Tilt late at night= THEY'RE GOOOOOT! Many drunks and overaggro donks get on by the dozens :) Made one bad play at plo, and made one stupid bluff when I was COMPLETEly surprised by how good my opponents' hand was. I luckily ran fairly well at 1/2 nl 6max (50BB buy in) and played great. I love the lines I took to get value as well as protecting hands. However, I have decided to play a bit more solidly, not as bluffy, tighten up SLIGHTLY, and not set mine (no details I sort of want this to be a secret strategy
So it looks like I lost ~$200 in PLO, tho played well, so I'm maybe up $50 for the day in PLO, but won $750 tonite in NLHE. $+550 tonite, putting my roll at a better $2500. I started at $1400 earlier today and felt like crap!! :-) I have come to a conclusion as well about luck; when you play well, running well just seems to normally come along. I would agree with this 80%. 4/5 times, you will run well when you get the money in and you will hold vs the fish who stuck his money in with bottom pair and gutshot. 15% of the time you will take some bad beats but still have a winning session, and 5% of the time u will run unreal and go down for a big number because some idiot keep sucking out. Truth is, it's the 20% of the time that makes u the 80% of the money, if you think about. Why? Yes, very bizarre thing to say, but think about it. The fish getting lucky keeps bringing them back. The thought about them hitting their flush or straight draw, or flopping their set, they're going to be playing incorrectly against you most of the time. Capitalize on that 80% and push you're equity and skill advantages and stick it to the fish most of the time, to definitely cover the time you run bad. That's definitely one of my problems in poker- I do not stop early enough when I'm runing bad, tend to move up limits and chase losses, and also gamble a little too much and play a bit sporattic. When I'm not playing my B+ game, I will quit the session for sure. When I'm playing my B+ A game, I will play as long as I can, excercise good table selection and discipline, and also get reads on my opponents to put them on ranges preflop and postflop and the line they take to play effectively against their most likely holding. PT Stats for today overall for NLHE: 1550 hands, ran at 24/21/4, winning $750 at 16.7BB/100. I guess I won $350 today at PLO (good score playing .50/1). I'm definitley getting better and having more discipline, and realize something like a quarter wrap plus a pair is a decent favorite against my bottom two, so instead of bet/calling a raise and open potting a safe turn, I decided to bet/fold and wait for a better spot. This will safe me a lot of money; earlier tonite I overplayed QQ on a Jxx board that wuz so dry I assumed the guy had a decent straight draw, and with QQ I thought I had two blockers fo rthe straight, so I called and openshoved turn (Ad- bad turn card but figured he couldn't call w/o AJxx, set, or half wrap+ with flush draw). He had middle set and scooped; I def spewed chips and have learned. I used to have SUCH discipline in PLO; i will try to have a combination between the UBERNIT styles and LAGGY unpredictable ones. Hands:

Unreal bad play by this guy; this is one of the reasons I'll try to play fairly brief session at nite more! There are many drunktards, but also many sharks because of the donktards/drunktards. I'll just have to practice good game selection and play within my limits and ill do fine. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127338

He c/c pretty quick then donked the turn; 100% sure I wuz ahead here, so I just called and expected him to bluff the riv. He shoved, I wuz more than wiling to call, he had missed gutshot; he's an idiot :)
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127336

I'll show the cooler this guy put on me earlier; u'll c y I couldn't fold bottom two on a drawy board with heavy action to him! This hand he overcalled preflop vs a shorstack OOP with Axs while one guy still had to act. Doesn't that say it all about his skill level? I put him on mid pair like 77-99, which is probably goingt o c/c a bet on the flop. I decided to go for the turn freebie, which I hit, and he was drawing to a very slim chop on the river which I luckily dodged.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127339

I had a read on this guy that he was a calling station and also liked to flatcall with sets, at least on flop. I decided to not give him the option to flatcall the river without getting his whole stack in if he had a set, so I just shoved and expected him to have set or two pair and to pay it off. Pretty sick cooler on him; I LOVE my rele aggro line, jus a sick cooler for him. RELE Wish we were deeper but w/e. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127342

Vs any normal person in a limped pot, I would snapfold and assume this is aces up or set, especially with the blind overcalling. However, we both knew he wuz a shithead, so I couldn't fold, he coolered me... (same guy from the a4hh hand to my AKcc that cold-called a 3bet preflop from a shorstack with one guy still left to act and will be OOP vs both players postflop).
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127347

I made a rele bad raise on this flop- i ahd no reads on this player, but I had to snapcall the shove becuz it looked so much like combo draw. Cooler; luckily I only had 50BB. I expect a better 5 to make at least make a reraise and not a shove, and a 4 to call, and only a big draw to shove here. Jus a cooler; I wuz almost positive during the betting my kicker wouldn't rele matter, so I wuzn't worried there. How many coolers can I get in limped pots preflop!?I assumed he had 67ss, a2ss, 32ss, one of those. W/e...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127349

I could never see this guy having a K at all. He had been doing elaborate bluffs like this so I decided to make a rele thin calldown. Expected maybe 57hh or some sort of busted draw. Yes, my kicker sux, but I'm not too worried about that at all. I'm more looking at weak pair bluffing or a complete float with just air, maybe a busted gutshot that could have picked up a turn heart. His c/min ray didn't look like a big hand at all, and his river pot didn't look very strong either because it wuz pretty fast. I think I played the hand fine, and allowed him to bluff by playing it conservative. I expect a bluff from this type of player most of the itme, but he rele did have a hand. His flop c/c wuz atrocious tho- I bet the turn (though it was bad) to fold out button which mite have had better 9 or could have tried to take the pot from me- it wuz bad bet but I wunted to iso vs the fish who I assumed I had beat rather than I guy that could fold a 9 in this spot with a better kicker than me rather than having to worry about him at showdown because I couldn't get value from the idiot...yea lol
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127355

So yea, good night session, good games just need to work on table selection since there r the easiest AND the hardest games fairly late at nite. On a side note, looked through my PT database and noticed almost all my premium hands were winners. Only AKs was Negative $800 net, because my heads up session when I was on tilt vs a guy that runs like G-d himself vs me, and I shoved in 200BB total with AKhh vs him who would 3bet often, expecting to have lots of FE and be flipping vs his most probably calling range. He woke up with KK and I wuz busted. I raised button, he reraised blind, I 4bet overshoved; I thought it would be +EV. But this guy rele does run unreal everytime I play him; he even beat Aba in a CR video becuz he runs SOOO good (coolered him when Aba had TPTK on drawy board and the guy had set in reraised pot) and other sticky spots. So yea, bad luck on that part; otherwise AKs would be about even, which is probably just a product of negative variance (only 43k hands). So I think I'm playing very solid and I'll have a montly checkup and review of my PT Stats to look for anything strange and look at the biggest winning and losing hands- should be fun.

RUNNIN terrible at night, then Recoverin mostly This Afternoon

I don't have like ANY hh for some reason, but I don't have to tell u that I took some unreal beats once again from the FUCKHEAD BLOCKS. Blocks is a fucking terrible luckbox and I hate him. I will never play late at nite again becuz I play fine, but run ABSOLUTELY UNREAL BAD. It is SOOO FCKIN SICK. Neway, today played well and ran well. Lost $900 last nite, won $600 back this afternoon at .50/1 nl and .50/1 plo. Won $255 at nlhe at 12.56BB/100 playing 7 tables of it in 1k hands exactly. Played 23/20/6- how the fuck did I have a 6 AF? I've now decided to take more advantage of scare cards that hit as well as situations where someone who c/c the flop can most likely not continue with a small-medium pair after the second overcard hits and so on. Anyway, won $345 at PLO at 2 tables. Made some great decisions, didn't overplay Aces, pushed my pairs+combo draws and other small equity advantages. My good hands held and when I wuz flipping (once or twice) I luckily won. I now will start playing PLO more, just tightening up my range and betting most but not ALL flop textures, unlike nlhe, where I will cbet the flop 98% of the time or so, which is definitely a good choice. I'm tightenin up a bit my early position ranges postflop, but open the same amount of hands in MP, MP+1, CO, and Button. I'm still playing unreal solid LAG, pretty TAG tho. I think my adapting to various table situations (like other LAGs I'll tighten up, TAGs ill loosen up a bit, and Loose/passives I'll RELE get aggro and loose in position). I think I should stay at the .50/1 game for a while; it will probably take me 2 weeks or so if I run ok to get back to the $1/$2 nl game, where I will 9 table and jus play solid. I might want to change my style a bit and not 3bet so much from blinds, but rather like from button vs CO open, CO vs MP+1 open, etc. I think my postflop style is pretty good, but maybe I'll work a bit on my play in reraised pots, especially in position actually with small-mid pairs. I probably should actually not set mine very much at all anymore since it's becoming tougher and tougher to do and less profitable unless playing with deep stacks.
Roll-$2k
End of month goal- $3500

Hands (no rele extravagant postflop plays) :) :

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1126164
I decided there wuz enough dead money in the pot and vs his range I wuz about even equity, if not a small fav because he could be resqueezing a potential squeeze.

Love the way I played this hand; to be honest I expected someone with position on me to make a play with air, draw, or small overpair like 99 or TT. Instead, they folded around, and the beautiful 3x hit. Board 8433, with two diamonds. He bets again, I'm not sure if he wuz betting diamonds, mid pair, or air. I will say that I HATE his turn bet with his hand, and I don't rele like his open UTG. He should have c/c turn and reeval riv. He checked it to me on the end, so I liked my shove becuz it looked like desperate missed draw, as the draws all blanked the river, and K wuz not in my range. If he wuz ahead before, he would probably be ahead now. Everything worked out well... rele didn't expect a hand as weak as his to bet the turn that large.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1126174

This guy made a fairly big flop bet, so I assumed he had an overpair and I should c/r for value. As played, he shoved...I don't think I had been getting out of line and had been pretty tight with my preflop calling ranges, especially from blinds. I guess he thought I had straight draw, mid or small pair, or just air. I don't mind this play so much, especially from an aggro player like me. He thought his J or T wuz probably good, he had backdoor hearts, and the gutshot 9. Vs my range, I like his play especially with the stack sizes, since there's lots of FE, and J high mite even be good if I have a low OESD or somethin lol. Besides, if I call with 7 or 8, he has plenty of outs to make his shove +EV. He took a risk, I had a hand. W/e- not as much of a spew as it looks after I look at the hh. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1126183

Good HU Session

Played like a 45 min hu session, ran well, but also played great. That is definitely the best part of my game, and I think I will actually be a heads up specialist for at least the rest of the month. No PLO, no hu lhe. Everything should be ok then. Roll: $2475
Overall, today, won $575 hu, played 400 hands and won that at 48BB/100, playing 35/30/4.5
I think because of my great perception skills in poker I am able to rele adapt hu and be prepared to rele play on my opponents weaknesses and tendencies, and tighten/loosen up accordingly. Very rarely will someone give me a problem hu, tho there r some people I certainly don't like playing but I will play to get better.
Hands:

This guy wuz 3betting a lot preflop, but rele I think he wuz jus picken up hands cuz he's pretty solid. Dumb shove, didn't suck out- this wuz very good for metagame cuz I got it AI preflop with KK vs his 77 for a 200BB pot. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122748

That wuz only real losing hand; played very solid and ran well rest of time. This shove with the hand earlier vs him lite rele set up for this one, and I'm glad to establish the image as sort of a crazy aggro.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122744

Yea, I guess he thought I wuz 3barreling with a missed draw here? wut is he repping with this river c/rai? Yea, stupid play by him. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122751

Bad shove and got lucky with hitting this flop that gave me a lock on the hand pretty much. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122761
Key aspect of this hand: I shoved thinking there was fold equity, and I wasn't CALLING off all my chips, but shoving them in to apply pressure. He woke up with a hand and it didn't hold :)

MAJOR cooler vs this guy; I decided to flatcall the flop since I had such a lock on the hand, and he could definitely have a draw and be committed if he bet the turn, but he could fold a lot of hands here. There wuz a very likely chance he wuz bluffing as well. When he bet the turn, I assumed he either had big draw like 89hh and wuz committed to hand if I shoved, Axhh, or actually T. I don't think A is good card to bluff, so I shoved in here instead of jus calling. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122782

This guy made a very thin river call. He c/c whole way, I put him on about the hand he had, and knew if I took a bit then shoved it would look like a busted draw. I knew he wouldn't check a flush to me on the end, and at least somewhere in the hand wouldve shown agression if he had better straight, so I valueshoved figuring he wuz also somewut committed, and he paid it off.

So good session- won ~$450 quick HU; runnin good now but I normally have had great results hu, so I will actually stick there for a while until maybe I improve my 6max strategy a bit...? I think I play well but I pay off a frequent amount jus becuz people will play fancy and retarded and I'm a LAG so I am not expected to have much. I've always had a very consistent winrate heads up and can focus so well when i 3 or 4 table HU. So yea, I'll stay here for at least 10 more days, maybe an donkament or two, jus grindin back to a $3k roll where I will grind hu .50/1 for an income jus for $ on the side and work my way through the hu ranks. I would say I can beat the game well at hu up till 2/4 well, where there r some great 2/4 hu players that put SO much pressure on it can rele screw my LAG style.

BTW, retarded hands from last nites session where I got SOO unlucky!
I hate this fuckin donk lucksack, and I hope he burns in hell. After he hit his nice 2 outer on the river for a 400BB pot where he made a TERRIBLE turn play, he called me a fish in the chat, and berated me after every single hand he won becuz he's a stupid lucksack who is terrible and I would play him hu for the rest of my life and even beat him out of his foodstamps.

TERRIBLE BEAT LAST NITE THAT PUT ME ON MEGATILT- he soon left after and berated me further I hope his family dies of a terminal illness. I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE SHOVE IN FOR A 400BB POT WITH A HAND that is SO weak for no reason and suck out!
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122876

Earlier vs this monkey where I held...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122882
So yea I'll stick to goals, roll management, tilt control, and focus on game selection and I'll be ok!

WUT THE FUCKING SHIT

yes, running great again. I would love to show some hands... Lost $1k today. Don't feel like going over PT stats, they obviously we'ren't good. Doin GREAT for the first 15 mins; did I mention that I lost all my winnings from last nite to some unreal ridic beats? Yea... hands coming. Ran like SHIT in plo, Limit HE, and nlhe! yay!

Big cooler wtf???http://www.pokerhand.org/?1122536

I have a million other hands where the FCK did they go? Neway, TERRIBLE day filled with coolers, bad beats, etc. Duno where the fck the hands went... had some terrible plo luck and crap and blanked out vs an overpair with pair+3 live cards+OESFD lol

Correction, while writing this blog, I won an all in in a PLO hand with a full wrap vs top 2! :) FINALLY. At $2,075. Uh, yea, running bad. I guess i'll start playing more .50/1 hu nlhe until I start to run better in 6max. I guess my strongest game is HU, and the .50/1 level games r pretty good. Wish me luck, it's time to run good again and grind back up to $3k! At $3k, I will cash out all my winings past it and maybe some up like $500 month to month to build the ol' roll to move up.

MONTHLY CHECKUP- (to make me feel better about what I HAVE accomplished this month)
40k hands.. playing at 31/26/3, winning $5,115 @ avg of 5.53BB/100. End of month goal is $3k roll (not counting rakeback), get cashout system like checks set up with FTP, actually begin lifting program, and NO MORE LIMIT HOLDEM, HEADS UP OR 6MAX. Yes, people play bad. But it's ALL ABOUT WHO CAN RUN WELL. LITTLE skill involved at these limits and it's pissing me off the ridic retarded variance...SO much easier to 3bet lite in nlhe and shit becuz there's so much more skill. So yea, once I stop that, as well as PLO since I run fairly bad and can't win my flips (as well as getting pissed at retarded variance of the game), stick to hu nlhe at .50/1 and no higher unless with 50BB stacks or w/e should grind me up. In fact, I won't play ANY games except nlhe for rest of the month, probably no 6max either but we'll c how I run at the HU games. Maybe start some sng's...? No more other games since I sorta can tilt and whatnot and get screwed so w/e we'll c.

Pretty Good Day

Pretty Good Day today; fairly boring and swingy 2 hour session. I finally went on a little upswing at the end and ended +$500. Haha I tried all sorts of things today; shortstacking $2/$4nl with $100, playing with 75BB at $1/$2nl, and playing $.40/$.80 deep with full 200BB stacks. Didn't run very well deep and made one stupid bluff becuz I wuz getting frustrated with this guy that wuz hitting EVERYTHING on me who's a fairly big donk/calling station. Ran fairly well $2/$4 shorstacking and prob made $200 and made ~$300 at $1/$2nl 6max. Took a few bad beats, didn't give any bad beats. Played fairly solid and well.
PT Stats: 1500 hands, played 21/ 19/3.7 and ran at average of 2.33BB/100 9tabling
Hands:

Made a Good shove here and my hand held. I figured button had some sort of pair+draw. The sb c/r the flop, which got me sort of worried, but his most likely hand was hand like pair+decent draw, and decided with the dead money out there that shove wuz best, though normally I like calling and getting it on safe turn to avoid variance, simply becuz there was the button who flatcalled the flop and I didn't want him to draw cheap. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119068

Normally I like to call and get it in on safe flop, but I jus felt like gambling and my hand held.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119071

Sick call here after I built up a stack; his line made no sense except for VERy weak pair but most likely a draw jus trying to take the pot. I wuz never giving him credit for donking the turn with Kx (especialy since that hand wouldn't make sense on the flop), and he owuldn't bet the river with Qx becuz I had called the turn K (unless he had like Q7... which wuz unlikely). He turned over 6Tss, and I probably put him on tilt calling him down for ~60BB with by the river what was third pair lol! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119074

Got lucky by hitting my two outer on the turn; played it well tho and got paid. I knew to c/r the turn to get money out of a lot of 8x hands and straight draws, and maybe induce draw to shove or something. I wuz a ltitle scared when he flatcalled becuz before he took this line by calling and then betting smallish on turn with set, but I had to go with the hand and jus say it wuz cooler if I lost. I thought about valueshoving riv, but I decided to jus bet. I don't think I coulda gotten ne more value out of it. I though it wuz good c/r size on turn and riv bet size.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119079

Got lucky on this flop- I like my c/rai on turn- luckily my hand held vs maybe his 1:5.5 chance draw of hitting and I scooped vs a big donkey. LOL at his preflop call, and LOL for not raising the flop but betting the turn. However, I do like his big turn bet becuz there wuz no FE vs him since he committed himself to the hand, so I do like that. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119082

Played this nice and tricky- sort of WA/WB. Got him to bluff off his chips becuz i knew he wuz RELE aggro :) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119088

I love this play here. I figured he wuz probably floating me on flop and then beting turn to take it. I decided I had a lot of FE if I called here and openshoved a good river like this. He snappmucked. I couldn't c/rai on turn since i wuz never getting a fold out of NE hand, but I thought he wuz folding so I didn't want to fold. I decided at the last second to do this play, and I rele love it. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119092

Bad beat- I shoulda reraised a bit more preflop but this guy wuz bad and I didn't want to price him out with the reraise. The board wuz so drawy tho like all sets got there I felt it wuz too drawy to pitch it. I wuz 55:45 fav on the flop, about 2:1 fav on the turn, but he rivered his flush to crack my aces with his AJs. Wut a donk. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119103

Stupid play by me here but I had to assume he wuz on the bluff. Grr... spewed bad here.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119105

With my stack and his possibility of having a draw here so I had some FE, as well as maybe a weaker K and he wuz an idiot, I decided to shove. I didn't want to c/rai here cuz I had no FE. I knew I wuz in a terrible spot, but I knew he would bet big if I checked it and I didn't want to fold the hand and at the same time c/rai is bad, so I decided the only option was to openshove and I didn't catch up vs this joke. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119112

Sort of a tilt play and for metagame so I could shove big hands like this later on; I figured he wuz maybe squeezing or had AQ, and with the fold equity I had on him I felt that it wuz a good play, especially since my hand wuz very life. Of course, I blank out completely and I lose another buyin to this fucking idiot...!! http://www.pokerhand.org/?1119113

WTF I rele do Run bad at Nite during MTTs!

OK- I WILL NOW STICK 100% to the rule- NEVER PLAY late at nite OR during an MTT!?
WTf? I Played well and jus got coolered/bad beated... I mean wtf? Unreal- lost $1800 today(!!!!) and had a $3k swing from this morning when I wuz at 5750!? WTF....
Roll- $2750
Goal- $6k end of month AND FUCKING HOLDING ON TO IT
Yea, stick to RULES, everything will be OK NO FCKIN excuses; no rules=no roll...
Hands:

Got lucky vs a complete donk...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1116715

That wuz like one of the few hands I won...
Guy hit a river two outer- the ONLY card he could have fucking called a shove with. LOVELY... I wuz SOOO close to c/r turn!!!! I didn't pull the trigger FUCK
He played the hand HORRRIBLY- min raising flop, betting turn!? Yea, fuckin idiots get lucky with a 2 outer that they can call a shove with nice http://www.pokerhand.org/?1116717

Standard... I almost never call preflop here but once I call preflop I have to get it all in on this flop. BTW, this guy got it all in postflop vs me with AA on two diff occasions postflop, both standard coolers...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1116723

Idiot plays ahand AWEFUL and hits river card...http://www.pokerhand.org/?1116724

Later, the guy with the AA from before had AA again, flatcalled my reraise preflop, and c/instaraised all in on flop. Of course, I have overpair on drawy flop, I call, and he of course tables aces. I picked up 8 more outs on the turn, and missed all 10 outs by riv. Yea... nice nite. For some reason no fucking hh.

Yea... I've had a new decision- I think imma play $.50/$1 nl with $3k-$3500 roll regularly and cash out. $1/$2 and $2/$4 nl have such sick variance I don't care- I'm happy with making like $3k a month at a comp 1 hour/day and I don't want to make poker so mentally stressful and tough on my life. With a $2750 roll now, soon enough I can be able to grind the .50/1 and cash out periodically. I shouldn't be bitching, I paid off my loans and have plenty to play with that are winnings, and I will probably have like $1400 this month from rakeback, so jus gotta grind- I figure $11k/year I will make in rakeback, so yea, I will use that to build a roll so in a year I'll be playing $1/$2nl for a bit then hopefully move up to $2/$4nl, or maybe even cash it out and wait longer until I go bak to like $2k swings like I had before when I wuz playing 2/4 nl.

Another weird Swing, but Sucky

Today I jus wanted to fire up a quick session, for like 30 mins to gamble. Turns out I ended up playing for like 2 hours when I had work to do on other shit. Ran like crap at HU limit holdem; I fucked up one guy for only like $200 when I wuz stuck like $800, but then lost a lot of $ to two other donkeys and one guy who wuz good who I shouldn't have been playing. I had the roll to play 10/20 and 8/16 (300 big bets+), but I did not have the roll to play 15/30. However, I did vs the good guy which rele fucked me over. However, the good guy did run like God as well as the idiots. So, w/e. Very strange turn of events these past two days! NEW POKER RULE: When going in for a quick session for fun, play with 50BI+/500 big bets+, and quit after the amount of time you were planning on having the session last. SHT I'm pissed; fucked up a hard days work I pretty much had a bankroll to grind $1/$2 with for the rest of the month! :-(
Roll- $4350
Status for today- -$150 :-(
Goal for end of month- $8k
ONE hand will be posted out of sheer humor- this is y i play limit lol
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1115374 LOL at how he played the hand; limped UTG and called 4bets called A2o LOL. Then he donks on every street, and calls a raise on every street? LMAO!?

Very Good Quick Session to Start the Day

Played for about an hour this morning, and won a bit over 6 BI. 3 1/2 won at 1/2 nl 6 max and 2 1/2 at 1/2 6max PLO. Played very well and focused this morning; my short sessions where I really look forward to and want to compete are definitely my best. I rarely make extravagant bluffs/floats, as well as can see when to make folds and when to make plays. I'm improving in my PLO game; folded top 2 with a blocker for a straight today (J82 two diamond board; I had J894, no diamond and no backdoor redraws). What happened was I knew when the preflop raiser cbet, he had AA or BIG draw. So i c/c him from the SB, but then MP came over the top and made a pot-sized raise to $200, and the preflop raiser called. I did not want to commit $200 with all these all ins, as someone probably has a set vs like a monster draw. Luckily I folded; I used to call there becuz I assume a lot more people on draws rather than having sets in PLO. Neway, maybe thats ez for u guys, but over time my plo game has gotten a bit too loose and overaggro, and it has costed me. Probably from playing HU plo I've loosened up my game and calling range a bit too much. When I first started on party, I only played PREMIUM hands in the full ring game and only drew to nut hands, and even folded middle set on flop to little resistance LOL. Rant over. NLHE PT Stats: 573, ran at 22/18/4 winning 32BB/100 and winning $708.

Roll- $5750
End of month goal- $8k!!??!?? (jus run well and manage roll well)
Hands *lots standard and few if any bad beats :)

Only hand I rele did get lucky on, but I wuz only behind on the turn. 3/4 the money went in on the river anyway. I hate him limp/call preflop, but he played the hand fine the rest of the way (c/rai on riv becuz I would vbet or bluff the ace- think thats a good play) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1114568

I like my line here and his as well. Think I got max value; I don't think I woulda gotten paid if I bet a big bigger on the river; it's a psychological thing becuz nobody wants to lose their FULL buy in, but they'll call of most of their money with trips in this spot. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1114573

This guy wuz a major fish; ONLY reason I called preflop, as well as having position on him. I actually thought I mite have him beat preflop with AJ lol. He's also a payoff wiz. I made a good valueraise on the riv, but it wuz obv IMO he didn't have AA,JJ, or flush due to the fact that he make a 1/3 pot bet on riv. I like my turn check becuz I had nut flush draw and top pair top kicker, so I wanted him to catch up or bluff, while I could keep the pot small since top pair top kicker with nut flush flush draw even can be in trouble to any overpair obviously in this spot.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1114584

Love my line here. His c/min ray is either hand like KT or K9, or a big draw. I don't like ridic variance, so I woulda folded a scary turn. However, he checked, so I jus bet about 2/3 pot on turn and overshoved river to maybe make him pay me off with Kx or JQ. Think I played this hand well, and left myself the possiblity of reducing variance as well as sort of trapping him to betting a hand like Kx or JQ or big draw on the turn, where I can rele stick it to him with my top and bottom.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1114592

LOL Sick thing about this sessoin is according to my PT stats I only lost $60 or under in a pot this session in nlhe lol. Most pots I lost weren't even that much! This is the only hand I sort of regret playing like this, but I can't fold this to a minraise with these sick implied odds. I thought raising wuz good to isolate and build a pot in position vs people that were probably weak neway (cuz they limped). Limp/min reraise threw me off guard, but I wuz sure it wuz QQ-AA or occasional AK. I called the flop in position, knowing that most likely he wuz going to shut down turn unless he did have the QQ-AA. He bet the turn big; looked like a bet to protect KK or AA cuz this wuz a scary turn, So I had to fold. If he had AK with A of clubs, then good play. This mite be a small hole in my game, but who doesn't call a minreraise preflop with 77 and call that flop in position? Meh, I think folding flop mite be a bit weak vs unknown.

So good session today, won $1250 overall. My blog posts r getting a bit long, sry. Jus trying to go through my whole thought process to reflect on how I used to play and c how my play has changed over the course of time. Hope to hit $8k by end of month, though slightly unrealistic goal. Yes, I can definitely win the $2250 even in two days rather than 10, but running for that amount of time with no tilt control mite be a bit tough. At least I now have a very good roll for 1/2 nl, and if I get stuck 3 BI from bad playing/bad luck I can quit ezily and fire up a quick session later with a clear head.

Strange but Pleasant and Fun way to get Unstuck for Today

So yea, played some limit, won about $200. Ended up only stuck today in PLO, for about $600 :-(. Neway, while I wuz playing some limit, a rakeback freeroll i wuz automatically registered in started up. After 5 hours of slow and steady grinding, I outlast a field of 1936 players (there were 1937 but i got 2nd place lol) to win $850, and end the day +$250. LMAO at the strange turn of events of geting stuck quick $1k and slowly easing my way to being unstuck throughout the day. I think my MTT game is rele good and I'm making much better decisions; this tourney I wuz DEFINITELy picking up some hands tho, and coolered one other guy KK to AA when we were first and 2nd chipleaders it wuz rele sick. U have to run soo good to win a tourney; I'd say luck first and intuition/knowledge of game theory second. It's impossible to collect chips if you do not at least get to show down a made hand. Yes, you can definitely pick your spots to pick up chips, but at the end of the day it is whoever runs the best wins.
Some crazy hands from tourney:
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112951 This guy had been solid for the rest of the time he wuz in the tourney... im curious y he made this play maybe he thought we were flipping? Neway, started my major run at the final table here.

Major cooler I wuz talking about when we were both fat with chips which RELE put me into a position to be aggressive and grind down the rest of the table. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1113134

Heads up, this guy wuz RELE aggro, so I assumed i wuz probably 60/40 or in a flip situation. I wuz getting 1.5:1 on my shove, and I wuz going FTW, so I called and ended up hittin one of my 8clubs+3 J's+3K's=14 outs on the riv :). http://www.pokerhand.org/?1113136

Unfortunately, had false hope from runnin well and I ended up calling a smallish raise preflop and stop n going him on the flop. He ran RELE well this whole heads up session, and flopped top pair on me, which of course he's calling with. I had 9 outs on flop, picked up 8 more outs on turn, and blanked on riv. GG; I'm still unstuck for the day so holllaaa

This is how bad people r in freerolls; with 14BB he flatcalls a button raise from the SB with JJ, then he c/smallish raise on Axxhh flop, and calls off his last 1k chips with JJ to my a6. Turn heart scared me, but luckily the river blanked. He ridiculed me in the chat, saying nice catch. LMAO @ his bad playing. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1113166

Big pretty standard hand I lost near the money bubble but I luckily grinded back. I love how the diamond hits the river after I'm drawing dead to make it sting more lmao. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1113175

The beginning of the heroic comeback in the tourney. LOL @ calling off that money without getting good odds at all. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1113177

My one suckout in the WHOLE tourney. Blind on blind; he had been either shoving or folding... now he wuz raising looked like a suited connector kinda hand that he wunted to play but didn't want to limp and didn't want to risk ALL of his money; I shoved becuz there wuz lots of fold equity preflop, he called and tabled 9's, I sucked out :) yayay http://www.pokerhand.org/?1113180

The final hand of the tourney... stacks were about $1m and $1.6m. He had the momentum pretty much the whole time, not because of outplaying me, but because he wuz definitely getting cards at the right times and I wuzn't hitting the flops. at 20/40k blinds, he raised to 98k on the button, and I called with QThh. Flop wuz K34, two hearts. I decided to jus open shove, and he called with k8dd. I had 9 outs on the flop, then picked up 8 more outs on the turn when the J rolled off so i had OESD and FD, and it was not meant to be as the river was a blank 3. It was a massive overbet, though I wanted to make sure i Had enough fold equity and Ace high or something after cbetting wouldn't feel priced in to calling ashove. It was pretty much a stop n go play, but with lots of uts normally. So, I shoved 900k into a 200k pot. He's going to be folding this flop 2/3 of the time (when he misses), and lets say he flopped an 8, I would be a favorite on the flop with the two overs+ flush draw. I wunted to give myself a chance to win the pot rather than gamble and c/c off all my chips or c/rai on a draw with little fold equity and have A high hold or somethin. I think I played the hand great, jus didn't work out. Tomrrow, finishing hw, studying, 1/2 grinding, and hopefully buyin some more addherol meds before a big Conics test in Math on Tuesday lol. Very interesting day... at least I'm not stuck anymore tho it wuz sorta grueling.
