I went against my better judgement, but I'm happy I did it. Decided to log in another session, even after having a big 6 buyin loss day. Neway, ended up winning back a decent chunk of change. Ended first session at $3050, now I'm at 3450. Coming and winning bak 1/3 of ur losses in ~hour is fairly satisfying. I guess I feel a lot better than earlier this morning, tho this morning I got in a lot more weird situations than this session. There will always be those RELE awkward situations in poker, no matter how you play. Purely player dependent and goes on reads; problem is theres probably the most traffic on Full Tilt at the smallish mid stakes I play to rarely get enough notes on all the players. I play too many tables for PA HUD. Wut i'll probably do is if I'm in a big pot with a guy, i'll look into my pt database rele quick and look at his AF, VPIP, etc to put him on a range and how someone would play that certain range with that particular AF. PT Stats for this particular session not sure, but I'll show my NLHE overall stats for today. On a side note, I think i've found out some major PLO links I mite have by watchin Brian Townsend's CR vids, and I think I can adjust. Unfortunately, PLO is a game of whoever can run the best and also have a roll to handle ridic massive luck swings, so therefore I mite jus quit it altogether. It brings out the degen gambling side in me, which mite hurt my NLHE game a bit. I'll prob stop altogether since I'm not a big fan of waiting for the nuts at 6max plo tables and get a bit impatient. I'll go occasionally to hu plo tables (with at least 30 BI).
NLHE STats for 5/17/07- 18k hands, 30/24/3.85 running at 13.41BB/100, winning $5. Haha, I guess I lost ~$300 at LHE today, and like $450 at PLO or somethin. Limit holdem has ridic swings, but thats standard. Limit holdem itself has marginal swings, but HU Limit HE is a whole diff story. People do some crazy crap and call down so lite the money will shift all around.
Hands:
This guy wuz the reason of my success- SO RIDIC overaggro and stupid :) http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112259
I knew I wuz strongly representing a draw here on all 3 streets, and most sane people wouldn't shove Jx here. So I either had nuts to this guy, or air/busted draw. This guy SNAPCALLED my river shove, which worried me slightly he trapped me with a set. I saw wut he mucked, and found it farly comedic. I mean, I'm also playing QQ-AA like that there, MAYBE even AJ. Valueshoving in that spot wuz a good idea b/c I knew this guy wuz sort of a calling station, tryin to be a hero with big calls. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112263
LOL easily the biggest spew I had seen the whole session I wuz playing and ridiculsouly transparent. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112269
Stackin this idiot at a .50/1 HU table. He musta thought I wuz a stalker becuz i wuz jus followin him table to table messin him up. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112271
Sick call here. Jus looked like a huge 3barrel to me, and his hand didn't make sense. Set or air, nothing else. I don't think two pair valueshoves this river cuz it wuz very possibly I had AK, so he would more likely valuebet. Put the pieces of the puzzle together... if he c/r flop and gets called, he should easily jus shut down cuz theres NOTHING to represent on that board.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112280
Shoulda bet more on turn to expand pot to make big riv bet cuz this guy played so bad. I think I got pretty good value tho. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112290
Bad valueshove here I guess, but I knew this guy wuz so terrible that I thought I could get a call out of him EZ with two pair; didn't expect him to have the nut flush on the riv. Problem is, if I vbet and he shoved, he's so stupid that I'd be priced in to call becuz he would shove somethin like AT. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112294
Tough spot; normally i c/c or c/r this turn, but this board wuz SOO drawy I thought I'd jus take a shot. His raise lured me in as maybe Jx or semibluff, and I paid off on riv. shoulda folded then but w/e. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112299
Preflop is bad, but I'm RELE loose preflop in deep games jus b/c my implied odds are through the roof. Besides, people were even worse cuz this wuz full ring table. Neway, get completely coolered here in this hand. This guy wuz a spewy dumbshit too so I wuzn't folding this hand for even 300BB on this flop; especially becuz his flop shove looked like decent draw or overpair rather than set. Pretty sick. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1112304
Happy I made a comeback; mite play some 6max 1/2 nl again with $175 buyin or somethin; I dun rele like .50/1 and I think 1/2 is a lot more profitable, but jus gotta tighten up jus a bit and play a bit more position.
