A bad day for the HU Fish

Pretty good session today- logged about 916 hands, all heads up today in about 1.5 hours. Won $600 and ran at 14BB/100. Didn't play AS wild as yesterday- 53/31, which is still pretty high. My VPIP is a little inaccurate b/c I was playing some HU 5/10 limit, which I'm way underrolled for, and since you are getting like 3:1 to call a raise preflop, it's +EV to play quite a few hands. I'll probably start playing 3/6 hu limit seriously soon, though it is a bit dull at times. I love the .50/1 nl hu game, but it is getting a BIT tougher, though there r still people who try to outplay u every hand and make retard plays. I'll post some hh...
Goal in a week: hopefully get a 4k roll and take shot at 1/2 nl hu (unfortunately a MILLion things to do this next week like 4 fckin tests/projects. End of may should be a time of lots of pokering :)
Goal in a month: transfer back all $ owed ($2500) and have a ~$3k or $4k roll to grind it hu and slowly move bak to hopefully 2/4 6max games or hu.
Goal in 4 months- get ~$12k roll, cash out 2k, and take some shots at the 2/4 game, though if run bad instantly drop down since the game is SO aggro- stay there and grind casually .
Roll... $2300
Status since 5/2/07- +$1k
*Don't worry, my blog posts won't normally be this long I'm jus gettin started and givin background info*

- This hand wuz pretty trivially easy call; I didn't have many reads on this guy but he seemed a bit aggro and had an ego problem, which wuz a decent part in making this call. He instantly pot every street, and I thought a bit and called. That wuz actually a great river for me to call him down, and the board luckily pretty much blanked out.

- I'm not exactly sure how to explain this hand...Flatcalling in position with AJ with average stacks is fine I think, and I'll take advantage of the fact that I'm an unknown to him. I flatcalled flop b/c raising only folds out the hands I beat and gets the hands that beat me to put me to a real test later in the hand. I checked behind the turn for pot control jus b/c I generally play this hand in this spot WA/WB. River wuz obviously ez bet; I don't completely mind his call on the river since I played my hand a bit tricky and it looked a lot like draw/float and board pretty much blanked out- so he wuz either ahead on flop or not, and the rest of the cards if draws missed didn't make much of a diff. His repopping with k7o is definitely aweful tho he should have chucked it preflop.

- for real a crapload of unknowns playing 50/1 hu its sick. Neway, no reads on this guy. I obviously flopped a monster hand here, and a favorite vs him on the flop. Flatcalling a reraise hu with no reads with a3o and felting bottom pair in a reraised pot is definitely aweful; this guy's a complete craphead. I mean, even with no FE, I'm still shoving this flop all day hu with a probably live overcard, nut flush draw, and gutshot. I wuz seriously thining about flop C/RAI, though that is a bit of an overbet and looks like a draw, and I also wanted to set a tone in the match that I would be cbetting every flop in a reraised pot; I later stacked him taking this same line when he had k9 vs my AJ on the JTT two spade board wher he made the same flop raised, i shoved b/c so many turn scare cards, and he tanked and called and my hand held.

- This guy had been 3betting a decent amount in the session and seemed to play a pretty laggy hu game. Pretty decent, though nothing special. Flatcalling his reraise in position with 7's is standard hu no doubt. I flatcalled flop since it wuz dry and once again playing wa/wb. Turn i took a little and called, considering this wuz a pretty big bet if he had an Ace and a great bluff card, especially if I had a pocket pair or if I wuz floating. Luckily he checked behind riv, though I actually would have prob called down, since river wuz blank.
